Radical Islam? What's That?

Could radical Islam be responsible for recent terrorist attacks inside the U.S.? That question doesn't seem like too much of a poser, but it was too much for Attorney General Eric Holder when he testified before the House Judiciary Committee today. Rep. Lamar Smith tries to get Holder to acknowledge that radical Islam could have played a role in one or more of the recent attacks, but Holder apparently views it as a trick question:

The look on his face, nevertheless, is just plain stupid. Some people look that way deliberately so as to confuse and mislead. Perhaps evil is the better word to describe them.

I don't know enough about Holder to comment further on him, however, from the clip it's obvious that the question goes against what he believes.

Kind of similar to a situation when one doesnt want to lie, but doesn't want to tell the truth either, so one speaks in broad generalities rather than specifics.

Thanks for posting this video — I’d seen references to the exchange but hadn’t actually witnessed it. I find interesting how insistent Holder was on explaining that the actual teachings of Islam are different from what these bad radical people are saying and doing. How does the know that?

IMO, the Liberal philosophy is so illogical & irrational that it can never be clearly explained w/o being laughed out of the room. This is why they can’t explain their policies w/o lying, babbling, and/or just refusing to answer, as Holder has been doing since day one. He wouldn’t make any sense if he actually told the truth. He is trying hard not to get laughed at.
