The laserdisc for El Mariachi includes the film soundtrack in Spanish as well as an alternate English dubbing.
This English dubbing cannot be found on the DVD releases of the film.
But you will find a French dubbing on the DVD.
WTF?

Is this at all related to the fake trailer that they made for Tarantino’s “Grindhouse” double-feature project with Rodriguez?
To: a fool in paradise
Yes, he made it into a feature film.

Tarantino did the same thing with movie in “Inglorious Basterds”, he had Eli Roth direct the ten-minute faux propaganda film where the German sniper was plucking off Americans left and right with the bodies piling up, before yelling, “Who Wants to Send a Message to Germany?”

Where do Indians and Asians fit in this racist piece of crap?
When are they going to do a movie about what would have happened if the Americans took ALL of Mexico in the Mexican War, and then prosperity, wealth and freedom triumphed there instead of poverty, ignorance, squalor and crime????

How is it begging when I posted this under “bloggers and personal” and, I know people who acted in and were involved with the movie, being that I am active in the Texas Film Community. I think that gives me the credibility to write about it. But, thanks for hijacking the comments to pimp your link.
To: conservativefunhouse
Perhaps I was incorrect to use the word "begging". It would have been better if I had used the term, 'requesting'.
None the less, requesting the deletion of my post that recommends Alex Jones summary on YouTube as an alternative to this movie is, interesting in of itself.

In case you might misinterpret, I highly recommend you continue to post your views for others to read and make comments. However, I would further recommend, you also post your views on Free Republic for others to read and comment on.

Actually, I did not request the deletion of the comment. I think free republic did that on their own and I did not know about Alex Jones’ work on this until after I had already started working on the blog. Since I am close to the issue, I figured it would not be redundant for me to report on it as well.

Deleting my simple URL link to an Alex Jones summary of the Machete film on YouTube and then not providing me with any sort of reason, is somewhat disturbing. I used absolutely no profanity or racism in my post of the URL.
Your perspective on the Machete film is something you should fully share with readers of your blog site. The point I was making is that, I fully recommend that you post more of your own views on Free Republic about this film by using more than a brief explanation and a URL to your own blogsite.

Please stop promoting Thomas Chittum, he is an avowed racial separatist and a member of Stormfront and WIN.

Alex Jones is not welcome here, you should know that.

Until your posting, I was completely unaware that Alex Jones or any post about him is unwelcome on Free Republic. Duly noted.

There is a group on facebook suggesting that people who want to see “Machete” sneak into the movie, sinc Rob Rod has no problem with people sneaking into America.
Along the same line, I would be interested in knowing if he had any kind of security on his set while filming or if he had guards or any way of keeping unauthorized people away. If he did, he’s just another Hollywood hypocrite.

lol they always make Danny Trejo look like a real bad ass in the movies. Come to find out he's 5'5'' with a pot belly. No wonder he carries a machete.
