It is now glaringly obvious that President Obama has offered little moral support to the citizens of Nashville Tennessee and the surrounding areas that have been devastated by the recent flood.
Has the President visited the area? No. Has he done a "fly by?" No. Has he held a press conference discussing this tragedy, and the valor of those who are rebuilding? No.
The obvious question is, why? Why has the Obama administration all but ignored one of the largest non-hurricane disasters in American history?
Is the death toll not high enough? Are the citizens too self-reliant? Was there not enough rioting? Were there not enough suffering minorities?...

He ignores bad people that are self reliant. They probably aren’t the right color either.
They didn’t vote for him and Obama keeps score.
While Tennessee is Blue, Nashville is Red.
Country Music? Most people who work on Music Row are Dems
I hope these Obama voters and those at Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities remember this in 2010 and 2012.
The damage is enormous and affects all demographics. The many stories I’ve heard first-hand are heartbreaking. And they keep coming.
When the Red Cross arrived, they said they couldn’t believe all the recovery work that had already been done by neighbors, friends and, mostly, complete strangers.
Obama, we don’t need your words or the obligatory Air Force 1 fly-by but the snub has been noticed.
Got it wrong! Tennessee is RED but Nashville is BLUE!
they probably didn’t want him there anyway.
I for one hopes he stays home. We are doing fine without his help
He don’t like Red Necks
You read my mind! He probably don’t like country music either!
Obama will be recognized as the most divisive president in history. He doesn’t even PRETEND to be the president of all of the people.
Haven't heard much about looting either.
Maybe we just have to wait until someone behaves 'stupidly' and get another beer summit.
Too many people clinging to their guns and religion for 0 to be comfortable there.
Remember last year, shortly after Barry was inaugerated, Kentucky was hit by an severe ice storm? They lost power for days while suffering frigid temperatures. Not a peep from Barry or the regime. But the people of Kentucky put matters in their own hands and did just fine.
This administration is so phony
You might rephrase this: ‘Were there not enough suffering minorities?’ ... To read, ‘Was there no Democrat Party race hustle to play in race neutral Tennessee?’ Or maybe, just maybe, our Democrat Governor was too grown up for little Barry to con.
This is something that Obama and left fail to understand: people doing for others just because they are people.
Nashville is 28% black.
Probably 35% Yankee transplants
another 25% young libtard kids with cash or older folks with cash
very few "rednecks"
I agree with you. The people took care of themselves and their own and helped others. You don’t need obama there.
Set your recording devices for this Sunday for the commercial free benefit concert from GAC.
Photos and videos of the flooding of 52 counties.
Even our demwit governor is deserting the State, and heading for CHINA! We haven’t even seen him in West TN. Navy base as far as the offices are concerned were being cleaned up. Base housing is off limits as of last Tuesday when I went to the Commissary.
Shady Oaks Mobile Home Park 300+ units have orange X’s on them, ruined household goods stacked out front, smell is finally down.
Same as Memphis, it’s blue, while the rest of Shelby Co is red.
Governor Phil is counting the days till November, then some one else can have the job.
I read that of 99 Tennessee counties, 52 were under water. If that is true the problem went far beyond whatever the particular demographics of Nashville are. My question, though, is did the media ignore TN because Obama did, or did Obama ignore TN because the media did?
They get more agenda mileage out of leaking oil than shattered lives and broken people.
“Not a peep from Barry or the regime. But the people of Kentucky put matters in their own hands and did just fine.”
I think we have a tendency, because we totally despise Obama and everything that he stands for, to overlook some of the things that actually have been done in the face of regional disasters. It stands to reason that no administration could possibly get away with simply ignoring areas in desperate circumstances. I can’t speak to what is being or not being done in Tennessee, but there did seem to be an effort made in the case of Kentucky.
