Calling all 24 Fans! Need a critique of the show tonight. Jack has turned up the heat. Chuckie Logan narrowly escaped death and has now warned the REAl Russian villain. Allison Taylor's mind has gone south. Our Jack is in his Terminator outfit but is badly wounded. HELP! I need to "talk" to someone about all of this!
I’m waiting until the season is over and then watching them all at once ... LOL ...
So, is there going to be one more episode next Monday?
My husband and I watched with mouths agape! Jack is totally commando and making the rules as he goes! I guess next week is a two hour special to end the season/show.
My husband said after catching his breath from tonight, “It’s the end of an era!”

Yup, a 2-hour finale next Monday. Man oh man, I'm gonna miss this show.

This show has amazing writers. Just when you think they can’t possibly ratchet the tension any tighter, they take it to a whole new level.

It's the kind of show I'd like, but I think the PC-ishness of it would kill me. (And yes, I do think it's probably too PC for me, knowing Sutherland.) Hope it winds up well for the fans' sakes, though.

Well in the context of the story line, it’s supposed to be all about revenge for Renee’s death. I don’t think he would go “commando” over some peace deal cover-up.
Remember he was going to live a quiet life with his daughter before this all started. If there were a nuclear threat I could see him going crazy . So looks like Jack has been consumed by his lust for revenge, while Pres. Taylor has been consumed by her lust for her place in history via the peace deal.
I think the writers show that no matter how great people are, they always have free will to make decisions that invert their true natures that brought them to greatness.

Before you hang up your jock-strap tonight, you’ve gotta watch 24. Now, I haven’t seen tonight’s show
(TIVO to dump commercials) but last week when he eviscerated the guts of the bad guy who swallowed a phone symm card, and found that bad guy’s phone told him that bad guy was in the ex-Presidents pocket.
Now that’s not regular Idol programming!
I only hope that the “Son of the Anarchy, can take the place of Jack Bauer!

I don’t watch TV per se, I just rent DVD boxes and watch whole seasons, so I can’t watch it tonight. But I might check it out.

President Taylor is wrong. She screwed up when she covered up a Russian plot to detonate a nuclear device in NYC and she has to answer for that. Jack is now an unbound righteous fist of justice answering only to his own clear sense of what is wrong and right. He’s on a whole different level from everyone else and he’s the only good guy left IMO (except Chloe perhaps).
Chloe IS hot: Jack just doesn’t know it yet. Some of us think she will be a key figure in the finale. She will probably save Jack’s life whilst pretending to kill him and then they will be in the movie together and be a couple.
Jack is going to have to off Freddie P. Jr. or be offed himself by Jack.

Yep, I guess that I could also go ballistic over the murder of my beauty like his Renee, if I only had the where-with-all of Jack Bauer.
Oh, sorry babygene. I thought you were kidding. Next week is the two hour finale. you kinda have to see all of the episodes to know what’s going on. The show isn’t coming back. :-( You can rent each season’s DVD’s, however. I highly recommend for a rainy weekend.

Jack went Jason, mask and all! Logan’s reactions to seeing Bauer coming toward him in full SWAT gear was hilarious!
It was awesome.
Still think a showdown is set next week between he and Chloe.
For some reason Taylor irks me, and she reminds me of Hilarious.
There’s some really good character actors in this cast. Logan is the epitome of a slimeball, Chloe can say more with her quirky facial expressions than most can with dialog, and the gal who plays the President has really gone from being smooth and confident to shaken and on the ropes, all through changes in body language. And not even Darth Vader put more fear into his enemies than Jack’s throaty whisper can. Plot and dialog aside, we’ve been treated to some great acting as well.
I thought Chloe was married with a child in the show. Did something happen to the marriage or her family?
The actor playing Logan is really good. He’s got that scum-sucker part down cold. He should get an Emmy for that performance.
One opinion piece over at Bighollywood.Breitbart.com was that when conservative writers left and liberal writers replaced them, there was at first, a lull. Theoretically the lefties that took the reins are angry that Jack can ‘ethically’ conduct warfare - that Jack is a warrior AND he is portrayed as having a moral code. Therefore, the reasoning goes, this season the lefty writers want to show the populace that no warrior is ethical - behind the morals veneer is someone who is waiting to kill, kill, kill regardless of ethics. Given enough time - the murderer within the warrior emerges. So Bauer the sociopath emerges. Katee/Dana was killed off two episodes ago. Why would anyone want to watch a Sackhoffless show ?
I kind of liked her at first but she screwed up. Her judgement was lacking when she curled up next to the snake.
Can the last episode please have the storyline destroy the UN? Just have the whole thing just obliterated? Man that would be fantastic. All the one-worlders globalist monument filled with dictators and socialists and baby docs and all that, just crushed when the it comes down.
