This remarkable video was presented at the UAB General Surgery Grand Rounds on April 29, 2010. Pass it on.
That day is comming.
Why would zero excoriate the most able people among us.
Saw this one a week ago - it’s wonderful. Thanks for posting it.
I sold my practice 3 years ago and retired at the age of 59. It just wasn’t worth it any more.
My husband, a distinguished biochemist in his field, retired in his late forties. He then managed my practice for a few years until we sold it. He holds 6 patents for inventions he developed while working for a major chemical company, lectured worldwide, wrote many papers for the leading journals in his field, and was elected to be a distinguished researcher at the early age of 40 by the other scientists in the company ( a significant honor).
The taxes and hassle just were not worth it!
We live very simply and we strive to pay a little in the way of taxes of all kinds as is honestly possible.
(By the way...Government school taxes are especially irksome. I just hate having to support government indoctrination that his working to undermine every value that I hold to be precious. )
My Dr. already did.
The video closed with Ronald Reagan who long ago shared with us his wise observation.
Realize that the doctors fight against socialized medicine is your fight. You cant socialize the doctors without socializing the patients. Ronald Reagan
