Here is video of James Carville saying Obama has been “misled” by his advisers and that “somebody’s head has to roll” over the BP oil spill. Carville encouraged Obama to “fire some people,” and said that if he appears “detached,” this could end up being “worse than Katrina” for him.

And make it a public firing, that’s what the stooge Chavez does. Put on a show ... make it look good, be mad, show your anger and disgust at your incompetent bureaucrats.

Meanwhile, the people want to see who is in charge of the giant oil slick, Obama’s Katrina. It didn’t have to be, for want of some fire booms, it didn’t have to be. It’s just incompetent stooges running big government that Obama wants, someone to regulate your salt, why you bask in the oil slick — the folly of it all.

Look up in the sky, no over there by the Styrofoam Greek temples — Why it’s Obama. Man of mystery, man who does nothing. Man who screws up everything faster than a speeding Kenyan. Man who fights for social justice and reparations. A man who worships in Rev Wright’s church ... And now we know what he learned while there.

And who gets the blame when Obamacare goes sour?

Did you find the fire booms yet? Why no, the government forgot to buy them didn’t they.

Carville is most likely sounding like the Louisiana boy he really is.

The Clintonistas might also be concerned with the total destruction of the entire Gulf Coast by the "ignant" Leftwingtards running the White House too.

No misleading here. His “staff” is completely competent and doing their job splendidly. Karl Marx, Stalin, Mussolini, Alinski would agree...

Totally agree with your statement.

There's undoubtedly a GS 13, or maybe even a GS 14 somewhere in Department of Interior who knows exactly how this problem can be resolved.

Alas, the careerists standing on his shoulders really can't afford to allow him or her to be put to work on fixing things.

The appointees on top of those careerists have previously identified this young GS 13/14 as a quite useful person to use in the preparation of their next PowerPoint presentations, so they certainly don't want him or her being reassigned to something "new" else they'd be left speechless.

The Gulf Coast is doomed!

I think we need to stoke this fire and prove government is the problem, not the solution.

Of course its the problem. The Obama administration has done nothing but block efforts to minimize this because he wants it to hurt as many, as badly and for as long as possible. Then Obama can portray himself as the savior and claim to be the only thing standing between BP and the pitchforks.

Its what community organizers do and we've seen Obama do this several times already.

Even if he fires people - he will still be detached. It’s just the way he is.

what can the federal government do?

Day one BP admitted that the Feds have the equipment to survey and deal with this crisis. Since then the Feds have insisted that the solution rests squarely in BP's hands.

We have the largest and most sophisticated navy in the world, capable of working at extreme depths with massive enterprises.

Obama's response has been to allow this crisis to worsen for his own political advantage. This tactic will blow up in his face.

I have been nisisting that this spill will not amount to a hill of beans. I did not consider the administration's conspiratorial interest in making it as bad as possible.

Maybe it is against Islam to disturb the magical oil since it funds all of their terrorist activities...or maybe he wants this oil to destroy our coastline....hmmmm

Obama has been “misled” by his advisers
The only advisers he can blame are Karl Marx and Satan

There are several issues which the criminal administration can derive leverage for through exploitation of the crisis in the Gulf.

Maxine Waters revealed the primary agenda, to take over the oil companies/control the oil industry.

Making petroleum based fuel/energy more scarce in Amerika by imposing extreme regulation now, as Ram-it-through Emanuel has said: '(A Crisis) allows you to do things you normally could not do.'

Government expansion of federal oligarchical powers.

Indirectly bringing the Amerikan people more under government dependency ... control over fuel equates to indirect controls over food production, distribution, and of course the ever useful 'scarcities' which translate into even more regulatory federal oligarchical controls.

And last but by no means least, the expanding regulatory mindset means massive additions to the federal bureaucracy, which means greater oligarchical control because there are even more government employs to vote themselves security in democrat controlled 'governance'.

Well, what compounds the problem is the fact that Obama does not HAVE ANYONE in any advisory positions who has any real life experience......all academics, they are great with “thinking” about stuff but not so good with applying any of this “expertise” in the real world.

IMHO, and I am not an expert, but I would have left BP to deal with the gusher itself and used local resources to prevent the oil getting to shore. Instead, there are literally hundreds of people waiting on decisions by the federal government before they can proceed.

Exactly. Obama and the feds passed the buck on this from day one. He barely commented after the explosion and focused his attention and efforts squarely on Arizona.

carville is from louisiana and actually realizes this is going to have a long-term devastating impact on south lousiana, and even worse on some of the cajun communities in the bayou. I guess it really is different when it is your ox that is getting gored, as far as carville’s political views.
