During yesterday's press conference, President Barack Obama was asked about allegations that someone in White House offered US Representative Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) a job if he would bow out of a Democratic primary race against Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania), His response was that there will be an official response "shortly". So we now have the answer to the question 'How long does it take to tell the truth?' It's ninety-eight days and a "shortly".

Someone should ask Specter if he was PROMISED that no one would run against him!

.....wondering if there is a tape of Odumbo saying something, it’s way too long to delay a reply that the MSM would’ve covered up within minutes.
Maybe there are other people involved that can’t bury tracks or don’t have the MSM “protection”

I knew when I heard him say it would be spoken about ‘shortly’, they would wait until late today or early tomorrow morning to make a statement. They always do this if they believe the statement will get lots of negative publicity. Always on a weekend and preferrably when congress is out for holiday. He hit a double homer with this! Must be bad for the administration (hopefully) because I believe he expects the turmoil to die down by next week. Maybe not but it sure is suspicious. Nothing surprises with the crooks in this government.

If its bad news (from their perspective) it will come out today and be buried in the news cycle If its good news it will be Tuesday and run all next week...

It will NOT be buried. The new media will not allow it.

It’s a new day, folks. It does not matter what the old media does or does not do. They no longer control the message.

Bingo! Look for a "document dump" after 6:00PM EDT today. If it's really bad it'll be around midnight tonight so it'll be buried deep by next Tuesday.....

Maybe. The vast majority of the population does not pay attention to either the “new” or “old” media..

Even though this is huge, and I believe that bribery by the President is an impeachable offense, nothing will happen considering the makeup of all branches of government. This disgusting, immoral person can and will do anything and he’ll never suffer any consequences.

Obozo has already declared that his people investigated the issue and found nothing for us to concern ourselves about. What more is there to do? LOL

I tend to agree. Clinton fired virtually all of the US attorneys and it was a total non-issue. Bush fired a few US attorneys and it was the crime of the century.

Obama's actions here will be seen as no big deal -- but don't try to get away with this if you are Republican!

I look for it to be released around 4:45 PM this evening.

I hope this leads to a new story: Ozero’s Friday Night Massacre.

It's up to Sestak now. If he thinks he needs Obama (or fears him), he'll cooperate with the White House, say nothing inappropriate happened, look foolish, lose his Senate race, and hope for an eventual payoff. If he thinks he might have a political future after Obama, he'll tell the whole truth, brave the wrath of the White House, and be a hero, hoping he'll be the last one standing when it's over.

No, because Sestak won’t reveal with whom in the White House he had the conversation(s), who made him the bribe.

In a time-honored Washington tradition, a bowdlerized version of the truth will be issued after 5 pm on the Friday before the holiday weekend.

When things get back to normal next week, Gibbs will only say, “That’s old news” and refuse to answer questions.

The Lamestream Media will agree and the steam behind the story will subside.

Sic Semper the most transparent administration in history.

They’ll release something after 5pm and it’ll get lost in the electronic ether of the three day weekend.
