A Rant Against the Left
me ^ | 052810 | tih

For over a generation, the left has been lying to (and sometimes abusing) us (and our children) in public schools. They've insinuated themselves and their complete rebellion against any moral standard into our institutions: business, media, academia, government. Now they're abusing the highest offices in the land and wreaking domestic and geopolitical havoc, making this great land a laughingstock and whipping boy for the nations. There is no assurance that America will ever recover from the damage these worms have done.

So, why do we allow it?

Maybe it had to reach this breaking point.

If the left thinks they can depend upon the silent majority to remain quiet any longer...well...hello? Just look around...the tea party folks are just the beginning of the revolt against their filthy agenda to ruin our nation and rebuild it as a socialist hell.

YES! That's it! It's my fault! I take responsibility! The BUCK stops with me! It's MY job to create threads that inspire intelligent responses and it appears I've FAILED MISERABLY!

the tea party folks

Oh yeah, I meant to address that, too.

The elites have already redefined patriots as terrorists. Shouldn't people be able to see the handwriting on the wall here? What do you think they'll do to us if the going really gets tough, and they still have all their power?

They will start a revolution. Things are getting tight and the anger over uhbama is not a simple smattering of folks like us or even bloggers or right leaning opinionaters or media folk...it is all around us...people are openly talking about the creepiness of uhbama and I bet NO ONE has ever witnessed that before...I know I haven't.

Don't you feel a creeping knowing that this is becoming massive? I do.

The more I read and study the more I come to understand the depth of infiltration and brain washing of the “power elite”.
It is a complete rejection of God and His precepts. Starting a century ago with atheism/Marxism it has transformed the very fabric of society with the lie that “you will be like God knowing good from evil”. Our churches are not teaching the truths that combat this lie instead teaching a feel good gospel.
What to do to change it? It may be too late to save the country (world?) as we knew it. It will take a spiritual revival and a generation to change it.
What are you doing to further that?

Maybe it feeds on itself, in the sense that the more people you have around you telling you your stupid and selfish ideas are smart, the more you tend to exonerate yourself and the more the whole thing tends to grow and grow.

We don't really allow it, we are just getting outnumbered. Malthus foretold. And the love of many will wax cold.

For over a generation... Republicans have held the White House for 20 of the last 28 years. The destruction of America has been a bipartisan endeavor.

The White House doesn’t matter.

Who holds the schools and the media and thus shapes people’s perceptions?

Conservatives only seem to care about isolated budget/legal issues while the leftists are out to dominate our whole societies. *That* is why they continue to win.

whomever you are, you are completely right.
Mybig frustration with Conservativeas and the Right — they don’t understand that this is a culture war, not a political war.

It's been much subtler than that.

Whoa, Tonto, that's my business.

As regards the rest of your post, "there is nothing new under the sun."

Given that, it's unforgiveable that it would happen...again.

On the other hand, it may be as inevitable as human nature.

So has everyone else over the age of 30 who has any sense.

Granted, it's an ever-shrinking lot...

It was an achievement in the 18th century to see so far ahead. Even more so 2000 years ago, but Matthew had a little help. Anybody can see it now if they just open their eyes and look back a few years. Stop watching TV for a while and then turn it back on, like after 2 or 3 months. Quantum leaps into the fire.

Indeed.

So what was it in the 17th, 16th, 15th, ... , 1st,...etc?

Stop watching TV for a while and then turn it back on, like after 2 or 3 months. Quantum leaps into the fire.

In acknowledgment of your tender care for my intellectual nurture, may I reciprocate by whispering, "Chesterton"?
