It is a must-read in estimation to truly understand the left and how it controls the media/message.
I was involved with the Westport Coffee House culture in '69 / '70 in KC and was always noted as a mysterious figure in the folk group and jazz culture that surrounded those venues. I was rumored to be a Narc or a Major Drug Dealer due to my conservative appearance but knowledge of all the people in influence in starting the Westport Interfaith Community Alliance and the properties it made available for ventures such as Coffee House and music venues was actually how I knew many in control. Out of that era came Dan Cooper, Shake Russell, and O'Roake and His Irish Court who had been proceeded by the Vanguard crowd which included Brewer and Shipley and Danny Cox.
I don't remember Second Pres playing much of a role in that but Roanoke Pres and Westport Presbyterian hooked up with the Westport ECUSA church in those efforts at Liberation Theology.
That year they blew-up/ burned-up the KU Student Union at Lawrence but I was already off to Basic Training at Leonard Wood.
Dana Cooper, not Dan Cooper...sheesh.
Also eager to read that piece by Sowell. I've wondered at how much he understands about people such as Obama, after calling his problem one of "inexperience."
