You know, I think I'd trust Joe Biden more than Obama. Of course, that's like choosing between the Kansas City Royals and the Los Angeles Clippers, but still...

Sounds good to me. On the other longer thread about this (linked above someplace) there are many interesting (and plenty not so) comments.

I think he’ll have a mental breakdown, possibly involving illegal drugs, or over use of doc meds.

Then resign due to “health problems”. I also think the media will turn on him (just starting to a bit now), many supporters will have turned sour, and more Dems will be leaving the sinking ship like the rats they are, after Rs take at least one and hopefully both houses.

What is your reasoning?

I did appreciate that fact that at the Memorial Day service at Arlington, he placed his hand over his heart several times. Obama never does that for anyone or anything, especially the USA.

I think the $5.00 gas and the gas lines will do it first.

And his minions will come out by the busload

He will most likely be running in 2012 against Romney and Romney will not win against any Democrat. I say the Republican will be Romney because, unless Mrs. Bill mounts a credible opposition for the primaries, very large numbers of Democrats will augment the efforts of ACORN by whatever name it passes itself by re-registering as Republican to vote in the Republican primaries which will give us Romney. I think the only way to beat this game is to generate somehow a groundswell for Bill's wife.

I think Soetoro would go through the process. He likely could not believe that he would be actually impeached, much less removed until it actually happens. At no point will he do the “honorable thing.”

If this guy is so sure of himself, he should put his money where his mouth is and go all-in at Intrade for Obama’s contract.

Will Barack Obama depart as President of the United States?

I agree with you — though I think that the civil war has already started.

As my brother would say, "Don't hold your breath unless you're somehow strangely amused by the color blue." But yeah, from American Spectator's mouth to God's ear.

If nothing else, Reid, Pelosi and Hillary could show us true and correct COLBs.

My reasoning is even a narcissict can only take so much.

I also know more Democrats than Republicans 10-1 many of them prominent fundraisers and insiders.

They ain’t happy with this dude and to a person they don’t believe he is a leader and is a hollow suit with no values, whose oratory skills are given to him by a teleprompter, programmed days in advance.

In short, he is becoming very tedious and unliked by his own supporters.

Thanks, that’s interesting. I would think that his non-leadership in regards to the BP oil mess is angering and alienating many of those who voted for him.

What would convince Democrats it is in their best interests to do this?

It would take a number of things as the article described. First, let's assume the democrats take heavy losses in November. Once the severity of that beating sets in the alarm bells will go off. Right now they can pretty much ignore Obama's unpopularity because they have large majorities in both houses of Congress and the WH. If they lose one, especially if they lose both, houses in November, the brutal reality will set in. Look at all of the dems and libs criticizing Obama now because the BP situation in the Gulf. That criticism is likely only to get louder. His performance with this issue has made it clear to everyone what we have known all along - Obama can not relate to the average American and is in way over his head. Add to his incompetence, criminal conduct IF it is found that his administration made illegal job offers to Sestak and others. At this point, Obama could only hope to have poll numbers as good as Nixon in August, 1974. You think that's the horse the democrats want to ride on in 2012? The democrats would have 2 options - stand by a failed, flopped Obama that is like a millstone around their necks, or break free from him to get distance from his disaster. In other words, when the democrats feel it is in their best interest to abandon Obama, they will.
