Yes I know, I too never believed that I’ll actually post any article Kathleen Parker wrote about the Palins. Weirder things have happened. Nevertheless Parker had a phone conversation with Todd Palin regarding Joe McGinniss---following is her report.

He’s probably right, but it sounds like everyone needs to cool their jets and that someone needs to leave the neighborhood. It shouldn’t have to be Todd and Sarah Palin.

The Palins need to buy the damn house. Build a compound, it’s worked for the Kennedys for decades.
Todd is right- it’s a non-partisan issue.
It’s ironic that no one in Hollywood has spoken out against this invasion of a family’s privacy.
The treatment of Sarah Palin — and of her family — has been nothing less that atrocious for two years now. It will get worse. I’ve never cared for Joe McGuinness. I may be one of the few who STILL believes the Green Beret Dr. at Fort Bragg in the 1970’s was set up for murder and HIS BOOK “Blind Faith” helped make it happen.
But what Ole’ Joe is doing camped next door to Sarah & Todd is positively spooky. It’s sick. Really, Joe? That desparate?

The owner would probably ask for a bloody fortune for it (far above what the old shack is worth) if the Palins wanted to buy it, given it's nuisance value to the Palins. The owner sounds like a really nasty woman.
Surely Todd knows that Parker is pretty much the Wicked Witch of the West when it comes to Sarah and a firm-backer of Mitt Romney. I can't help wonder what he hoped to accomplish by talking to this harpy who has had her knives out since the day McCain announced his VP running mate.
And also, I wonder who this mysterious "mutual friend" was who suggested that he contact Parker?
This is just weird, all the way around.
