Bill O’Reilly: Could the Oil Spill Be the ‘Knockout Blow’ For the Obama Administration?
Freedom's Lighthouse/Fox News ^ | June 08, 2010 | Michael

Posted on 06/08/2010 6:37:41 PM PDT by Federalist Patriot

(Video) Alan Colmes, Monica Crowley, and Bill O’Reilly discuss the impact the oil spill could have on Obama and his administration. O’Reilly asked whether this could be the “knockout blow” for Obama, Crowley responded, “I think it could be.” Colmes said, “It’s too early to tell,” but added, “Anything could happen.”

I watched this, but as usual BOR wouldn’t let anyone finish a sentence. He’s almost unbearable to watch. I really like to hear what his guests have to say, but he talks 90% of the time.

With a bit of luck in 2011, impeach the Zero, declare Biden incompetent, and presto...President Boehner.

That’s a total surrender by Alan Colmes. He usually tries to spin everything but he can’t spin this one.

Barry’s oil spill response makes GWB’s Katrina response look swift and organized.

I agree. But if I were BOR I’d stop having Laura Ingraham guest host. She is far more skilled at the interview process.Even Juan Williams does it better than BOR. All he has is his schtick. It’s gone on for more than a decade and it seems to play.

An activist Democrat I know is furious with Obama regarding his incompetence in handling the oil spill. He believes the oil spill is Obama’s Waterloo and exposes his lack of administrative experience.

That’s because Laura completely ate his lunch the other day. Fox should fire O’Loud Mouth and let Laura take over the program

Speaking of Juan Williams, he sure shocked Bill Kristol yesterday on Special Report when he (Juan) questioned Obama’s abiity to govern in a real crisis. I think we are going to see more and more doubts about the leadership abilities of Obama, and less and less people defending him against the charge that the Presidency is “above his paygrade”.

Tell your leftists friend,

Its the corruption, stupid !

That is how Obama ended up way over his head and explains why his hands are now tied. Heck, he could hire any number of executives to properly administrate the Oil Spill Crisis, but the corruption that put him in office, now keeps his hands tied.

I’d like to hear what Dr. Crowley has to say, but when BOR talks over that maroon Colmes, it’s an improvement.

Barry’s oil spill response makes GWB’s Katrina response look swift and organized.

The resources brought to bear after Katrina were unpresidented in the history of the world. That all happened in about 90 hours. Bush's idiocy manifested in his inability to say this.

Bush shouldn't have had to say it! The MSM should have told the truth about how the LA governor at first refused to let Bush send in the National Guard and the chocolate mayor of NOLA ignored their emergency plans for such a disaster.

But like Obama, the media blamed Bush.

This has shown an already weary country that he has no leadership abilities, and his juvenile conduct now is just making it far worse. Unless the economy becomes strong, he is toast. There is a long time until 2012, though. Right now, we are just playing beltway media games. He has done 10-20 far more disastrous things since taking office. The media ignored all that and is just playing this up to get their crisis ratings.

He wont resign but will be a 1 termer.

Oil Pollution Act of 1990 - the President shall direct all Federal, State, and private actions to remove the discharge or to mitigate or prevent the threat of the discharge

Obama's response was 50 days of partying, golfing and vacactions.

Emmanuals links to BP and Obama being the top recipient of BP contributions in the past 20 years.

Obama's quotes that he would be better than Bush at responding to a crisis than Bush.

“He believes the oil spill is Obama’s Waterloo and exposes his lack of administrative experience.”

People vastly overuse the Waterloo metaphor. Napoleon was whisked away to the other side of the Atlantic to die shortly after Waterloo. Obama will remain in power for at least another two years.

The economy will not get better until spending is slashed and obamacare revoked... so you can count out the part about the economy getting better... maybe by 2018.

The next time O’Reilly says “Obama is doing all he can do in the Gulf” I’m going to scream. Look at the shoreline Bill. If Obama had done every thing he could that oil would not have travelled 50 miles or more without being intercepted. 50,000 sailors dragging mops behind rowboats would have done more than Obama, ADM Allen and BP have done.

Even Matt Lauer was shocked by the admission by the Big O that he NEVER once called the president of BP. He just couldn’t be bothered to pick up his phone. Too much exertion required.

I’ve known people who are completely INCAPABLE of taking even the simplest of actions to accomplish something. The sad thing is that the same type of person is in the White House. We know he rarely attended classes in college. Did he ever take any tests? Somehow he breezed thru life until now and expected to breeze thru the White House.

Obama had more important things to do such as playing golf, partying and vacationing.

"But if I were BOR I’d stop having Laura Ingraham guest host."

She is fantastic. Thoroughly knowledgeable and better than Bill at reigning in the guests when they start to spin. Probably too Right to maintain the 'moderate' tack the show tries to portray though, not that it bothers me.

Juan on the other hand was painful to watch. He seemed out of his depth when he guest hosted. When I saw he was on again that Friday, I turned it off. I'll say one thing, he sure has a face for radio.

This is the the Iranian hostage crisis every day that it drags on the more incompetent Obama’s adminstration looks, like Katrina in the damage it is doing, and on top of that many Americans are unemployed with lots of time to watch it happen. He’s in deep doodoo IMHO!
