So what is the matter with Obama? Conservatives have been asking this question for some time. I've written a number of articles trying to solve the mystery.

Very interesting attempt to explain him. I think his family was the major element in forming his personality. I don't think he ever felt loved by either of his parents. He's a bit like Clinton, but I think even Clinton had the support of his mother. Something to keep in mind when I feel the urge to revile him. He's not all there.
His EVERY action displays very strong sympathy with the Muslim - Arab axis. Anyone who seeks to deny this is delusional. It is about time that Americans woke up and admitted it, then formed their actions with this is mind. And by the way, he doesn't have to pray to Mecca for this sympathy to be there.

In his youth and early adult life, Obama never expected that understanding and learning about America would come in handy some day. Thus, he concentrated his efforts on learning how to be a radical revolutionary and not on learning about America and understanding it.
His life was mostly directed towards dismantling America and not improving it.
Obama is neither mentally deranged nor inhibited by drugs. His “illness” is nothing but a lack of knowledge about America and the American people, and his actions are nothing but a reflection of his inexperience and his wishes to fundamentally transform the country into something completely different from what the constitution and its amendments intended.
There is no need to explain what is “wrong” with Obama. What is wrong with Obama is the same thing that is wrong with the people who hate America and don’t understand it and wish to destroy it.
What is wrong with Obama is that he is not one of us.
Robin has quickly become one of my fav reads - superb intellectual insight and the experience of being a “recovering” liberal/socialist from Berkeley. She knows the evil in the belly of the beast and it adds enormous credibility to her columns.

I'd be willing to consider his side of things like the stuff described in this piece if he weren't President. I can honestly see how this kind of stuff could mess a boy/young man up.
This all ceased to matter on the day that he filed as a candidate for the office.
Way past time for an ammendment to require candidates undergo a Physch eval. It would eliminate Narcissistic totalitarian dictators like we have now.
Not only that, but he blames white America, especially his mother, for his father abandoning him. His hatred of our country is his attempt to right a perceived wrong of his father. He can’t accept his father abandoned him because that’s what type of person he was. He needs to realize it is not white America’s fault his mother was a ‘ho and his father bailed on him. He needs to also realize that in no other country on this planet could he achieve what he has.

I just reread it again and, while I agree with Robin of Berkeley that Obama is mentally and possible physically damaged, all the behaviors she pointed to as being symptomatic of illness might also be merely the product of a deep and abiding hatred for America on the part of Obama.
He giggles when asked about our problems because he actually revels in them and finds them funny.
He doesn't respond to the oil spill not because he is dissociative, but because he just doesn't give a sh!t what happens to Louisiana and the Gulf.
He doesn't change or grow in the job because his agenda is the destruction of the country and the job.
His flat emotional affect isn't due to schizophrenia so much as just a complete lack of interest.
All this said, I still think, as does R of B, that Obama is deeply damaged, but the point above are still in the realm of possibility.
What mental problems can be attributed to Obama can also be extended to ALL!!! of the nation’s liberals. There can be only one sane position to take on social problems, economics, and politics in this country: a mix of libertarianism and Republicanism. To take a liberal position on any of the problems afflicting America means to take the lunatic position.
Sharon Angle is just such a person - send her the $25.00 she is asking for from all conservatives regardless of where they live. We Americans have a chance to dump the officious, vile, mendacious, crooked Harry Reid once and for all from our government.

It's the analysing that's silly, or maybe 'ridiculous' is the better word. No shrink with any professional standing is going to analyse someone at long range and then make a public statement of his findings. The Dems have done this a lot to Republican pols and it's no better when the roles are switched.
I have no idea what Obama is and I suspect he doesn't, either. My tentative analysis is supercapital immersion.
what he & Clinton have in commmon is not knowing their father(s) and who they even were. The man said to be Clinton’s father died in a car accident before he was born — Clinton’s mother was a known bar fly — and now that Clinton has lost weight, he bears a staggering resemblance — especially in the jaw — to Nelson Rockefeller — go look at pictures — whose brother, Winthrop, was gov of Ark and a huge womanizer.

Maybe we’re not so far apart. I’d like to think that my disapproval of Obama was only intellectual too, but it’s really hard to just not hate his guts when you hear the condescension in his voice and the underhanded way he goes about things. I guess my point, and maybe it’s yours too, it’s like being p_ssed off a rain storm. The storm has no heart. It doesn’t care if I hate it, or what I’m yelling at it, and it doesn’t want my sympathy either.
