While everyone is concerned about the big oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, something much more ominous just happened: the United States ceased to be a representative republic.
It happened on Thursday when the Senate voted to abdicate its central powers to the executive branch. Not that it was billed in such momentous terms. In the news, it was reported merely as the failure of the Murkowski Resolution.
What did the Murkowski Resolution say? It said that "Congress disapproves the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to the endangerment finding and the cause or contribute findings for greenhouse gases under section 202(a) of the Clean Air Act and that such rule shall have no force or effect."

If finding the “Privacy” clause or the ridiculous expansion of the Commerce Clause didn’t kill us...this did? It’s like the old Butch and Sundance line...we don’t have to worry about drowning, the fall is killing us. If we don’t put these mongrels out in ‘10 and dump Zero in ‘12 none of this will matter anyway.
Look around you and see what is happening.If that don’t take the if off your statement, nothing will. AS far as Congress goes, the Republicans voluntarily, if they ever had any, surrednered their balls to the DSemocrats a long time ago.
The republic died in 1865. It was in all the papers at the time.

You are a little behind the times. The EPA is not the only ones who get to legislate from the executive branch. Check out the IRS, OSHA, BATFE, etc. The EPA stuff is most ominous because the energy regulation would throttle our economy at the root by controling such raw materials as oil and coal.
Congress grabbing their power of the purse can readily thwart Zer0.
One more thing Mr. , I refer you to a book : The Ruling Class: Inside the Imperial Congress by Eric Felten. Although it is written over 15 years ago, the message is still the same.
And Zero can arrest Congress, if push comes to shove.

Interesting that Marxists such as Obama dream of “The Revolution” and believe that the outcome will be their victory.

The republic is wounded. The beauty of an executive order is that it can be revoked by the next President, and an administrative rule or protocol can be revoked under the aegis of the next secretary of that department, in each case without a vote by congress.
This is a sign of weakness, not strength, by the current administration.

Interesting that if things go civil war, the main region of rebellion will be the South once again, although joined by western states like Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Montana.
I can see a stage where a number of Southern & Western secede from the Union and Patriots from other states move into those secure areas while Leftards flee into California, the Northwest and the Northeast.
Then with everyone in place, the real fun begins...

Interesting that Bill Ayers thinks that 25 million Patriots must be arrested and sent to concentration camps to secure the Homeland, because I have that same number of Leftard traitors in mind.

When the war comes, and the lines are drawn across the country -- there will be A LOT of enemy combatants inside the Blue states quietly working for freedom. I mean, it would be a shame if trucks bringing supplies into the cities kept having accidents on the highways.

In 1859 how many people besides John Brown believed that civil war would soon start and claim 500,000 lives before it ended? Yet when we read the history books today of the all the troubles of the 1850s like “Bloody Kansas” we often think, “How could anyone be surprised when actual combat started in 1861?
People will believe “The Big Lie” of Global Warming; however, they disbelieve “The Big Truth” of the Second American Civil War.

I still think this can be turned around. Everyone should know Newt Gingrich is on record saying the EPA and many other federal bureaucracies will need to be replaced entirely. He says the EPA can’t be reformed because the agency is full of anti-business leftists.
We need a leader that understands this and Newt may be the only one. It’s simply not enough to win a bunch of elections. We must purge the leftist from all the federal bureaucracies. Leftist/liberals occupy somewhere in the 90 percent range of all federal jobs. (That is as big a problem as the elected officials)
And there are how many law suits protesting this blatantly unconstitutional abdication of power are there? When RATs don’t like the results - CA Prop 8; Gregoire’s “selection and AZ SB1070, for example), they immediately sue.

Sorry for the late reply,but I agree 100%,it may get ugly,but there will be honest people banding together,either under tyranny or freedom,and I think the people who believe in America as it should be will never surrender.
