Are we headed for $7 a gallon gasoline? With President Obama’s war that appears to now be underway against the Oil and Gas Industry as evidenced by his now declared six-month moratorium on deepwater offshore drilling, that is what may be on the horizon.
Ben Lieberman writes in the New York Post that $7 a gallon is what a Harvard University study found would be the cost of Obama’s Cap and Trade legislation – which Obama is once again trying to push as he seeks to not waste the Gulf Oil Spill Crisis as an opportunity to get another aspect of his radical agenda enacted . . . .
Hyscience.com reminds us that candidate Barack Obama got honest for a moment when he just came right out and said that his energy plans for America – reducing the use of coal and oil – would cause electricity prices to “skyrocket”........Yes, we have a lot more to look forward to from President Obama’s hand before we have the chance to make him a one-term President in 2012.

They can’t hide from us forever if this passes .. $7 gas means a doubling of our electric bills and an instant jump of 10==>20% in unemployment , people revert to buying groceries by the day and cooking on a grill (charcoal will be $15 a bag) and basing their day on the hours the sun is up and not by the clock... In other words we become Vietnam in 1953 or Cuba in 1960 ... I don’t think we’d let it continue however.

Next on my wish list is that Congress Critters and Good ol boys in the Senate be required to “READ” the entire bill and be able to support and defend why they voted “For” it (the same requirement should not be applied to an against Vote and the individual should not be allowed to Vote “Present” but can Vote “Ignorant”)
