FR was out for me on Sunday and now it is responding very slowly except when I select a topic. The main page loads VERY SLOWLY.
Is anyone else experiencing problems with FR? All other internet sites are normal.
Really slow. I just got this 3 hours from now.
Yes, out all yesterday, and today up until about noon ... then VERY slow loading after that ...
The entire internet is slow for me today. What a drag.
Yeah...FR was down most of the morning to mid afternoon..PST on Sunday.. I presumed they were doing site maintenance.
It so slow I’ve cut my finger nails two times already

“We usually have two primary web servers running, each having its own IP address. One of them fried and will be down until John repairs or replaces it. We are currently limping along on the single web server.
Someone posted that over time some people have edited their “hosts” file with our IP address. That could be a problem for those who can’t get back in and should be removed.”

I assure you they are completely aware of the problem.

Maybe switching to a lesser page will increase the speed....
Site was down on Sunday due to server problems requiring John to construct a box. The first one didn’t work but apparently the 2nd attempt did. Probably not at optimum preformance with this arrangement. Just my guess.
I can’t remember if it was Saturday or Sunday but I couldn’t get on at all.
Everything is back to normal as of now.
Its been down more than a few times for the last few days.

I cleared cache this morning and it’s lickety split again.
Consider this:
I have two PC’s on the internet, logged in to FR.
The old, slow computer is accessing FR quickly, with no delays.
The faster, more powerful computer is logged in to FR, and everything is going reaaaaaaalllllll Sllllooooooowwwwwwww.
I have a feeling that the loss of one of FR’s main servers is causing a congestion via certain trunk lines.
Hit abuse on this thread and they’ll read whatever you put in the abuse report.

Someone actually scored a goal in a World Cup game during a refresh. ;)
Very slow here as well. I cleaned my computer twice thinking maybe a virus was trying to attach, but FR has been the only site to load slowly.
Don’t care. It’s back, that’s all that matters. Thank you JimRob and JohnRob.
