Why would a conservative activists site ban a conservative activist?
This question remains largely unanswered. Conservative Examiner has been summarily banned by Free Republic.
For over a year I have been posting Conservative Examiner articles at the Free Republic conservative networking forum. From the very start I found the site to be admirable due to their clear goals of conservative activism--to advocate for the conservative cause and to work toward reclaiming our government, through the electoral process, from those who appear to have little regard for the Constitution.

One of the worst spammers I’ve seen. For someone who writes for the “Conservative” Examiner, he sure doesn’t respect private property.

So let me get this straight:
This pathetic, whiny loser pimps his blog (and yes, most of examiner.com content is just blog content) on Free Republic. When someone posts his article on FR, he starts screaming lawsuit. He gets zotted, and then blogs about how strange it is that Free Republic “bans” the “conservative” Examiner.com, as if it were the whole site that was banned.
Incidentally, the Examiner.com site is NOT conservative. There are truthers, socialists, global-warming alarmists, etc. on that site. It’s just not exclusively liberal, like most papers.
That guy had one of the worst “do you know who the hell I am” attitudes I’ve ever seen on FR, and I’ve been here pushing 10 years now. The only person around here who’s allowed to pull that shtick is Jim Thompson.
You just don’t walk into a community, online or otherwise, and start immediately expecting the community to conform to your norms instead of the ones they’ve established over a decade or more. He did, and the results were predictable.
Although, between Welshman007 and Danny H, it’s been a very interesting week in the FR noob troll department.

Reading his article about his “treatment” by Free Republic and FReepers, he sounds like a egotistical whiner who didn’t belong on FR anyway. There’s another current FReeper who consistently posts only links to their own blog. I refuse to give a hit. If you have something to say, say it in a related thread or post your own thoughts as a vanity, not a blog pimp.
Using FR .. as free advertising.. to drive traffic to his site. What a pimp. If he only wanted to share ideas, he would post his entire articles here (being “one of us”) with links as reference only. Now he’s whining that he’s been kicked out.
Reading it now. “Thus you will be reported” is a hoot.

Check out ScottFactor. Since joining 4/11/10 he’s posted a total of 4 threads that weren’t links to his own blog ~ and he posts a link every day since joining, sometimes multiply times! Now maybe ScottFactor isn’t annoying and a whiner like the subject of this thread, but I still refuse to give ScottFactor a hit to his site. He could post what he has to say at his blog site in toto here if he feels it is that important to share with Free Republic, IMHO.

The Conservative Examiner gets paid for the amount of views his articles get and yet complains when his articles are linked to this site and threatens to bring lawsuits against those that do.

My guess is there are many lurkers (with humorous/thoughtful commentary) who wish to join in on the conversations at Free Republic, but hold back because they don’t want to be “flamed,” zotted, etc. I wish the moderators controlled the content of comments a little more (I’ve been told to “F” off more than once), because respectful commentary from a broad range is interesting to read.
