I always thought “Dodge Ram” is an interesting oxymoron.
Who won Obama motors or the jap crap with half the weight and 2/3 the engine ?
Not surprising, the dodge truck is heavier. It would have been a more challenging test to go up against a Dodge Quad cab, which closer to the same weight of the Titan.
Since the bottom line in this pull is going to be traction, the truck with the most weight over the rear wheel wins. The Dodge.
Does the Dodge have a lower gear ratio (actually the proper term is higher, but people think otherwise) in first than the Nissan?
Once you break the tires loose, spinning them faster will not improve your traction any. I saw the Nissan’s wheels turning pretty fast compared to the Dodge.
I just think a larger truck, especially a dually, would have a ‘stronger’ first gear, or a higher ratio in the front and rear drive.
Why does the video call it a Silverado ?
