Here is video of Democrat Rep. Jim Moran telling Chris Matthews that the U.S. Economy “has recovered.” Even Chris Matthews was very skeptical when Moran said this, asking if the job numbers are good. Moran said the Economy has recovered, and actually went on to say Obama is not out trumpeting what he’s done on the campaign trail because “he’s an understated guy.”
Moran is living in a parallel universe to say these things. The Economy has clearly not recovered, particularly job creation, and who in the world would ever think of the word “understated” to describe “The One?” Even Chris Matthews called the economy, “a lousy economy.”

At first they’d gently suggest the worst was over, then it would get worse. Then they’d flatly state that it was over, and it would get still worse. Then they’d aver that the worst was definitely over, and it would get much, much worse.
Then they would shriek it, ever more shrill, each time.
This went on FOR YEARS.
They STILL haven’t really recovered, BTW, and the exact same thing is now playing out in the USA.

A recession is when your neighbor loses his job, a depression is when you lose yours.
A recovery is when Obama loses his.
As far as I know, Vegas is still in the ditch. You can buy extremely discounted real estate there,,,as much as you want!
Says a lot about a vibrant economy....
I guess the news will brighten the day of the many people I know who remain unemployed and growing ever closer to bankruptcy....

In the Democrat meme game this goes together well with Pelosi’s claim that the GOP refuses to help the middle class by denying budget increases to fund unemployment benefits. Moran is playing the role of Jack Murtha and like Murtha he must have done some pretty terrible selling out for Pelosi to get him to spew this garbage. I think they see their storyline getting thinner everyday.
