On his radio show yesterday, Al Sharpton surprisingly reveals an overwhelming support for Supreme Court Second Amendment decision in the black community.
Sharpton: "I would say 90% of the calls I received yesterday were in support of the Supreme Court and people say they want to bear guns. They’re tired of the violence and it’s very very interesting. I have had a few on both sides today, but yesterday was overwhelming, it was stunning to me."
Political correctness has masked the true intent of big city Democrat mayors for their support of gun control. Quite frankly it is and has been an effort to disarm blacks. And Justice Clarence Thomas’s remarkable revelation that after the Civil War, freed blacks only achieved freedom by protecting themselves with their own arms, apparently has resonated in the black community.

Gee, a black man files suit to be able to own a gun in Chicago and suddenly the shakedown artisits are paying attention? Racists indeed!
We can’t continue to pass more and more laws/restrictions directed at law abiding citizens and then scratch our heads and wonder why gun violence hasn’t been solved.
Blacks are the single biggest victim group of gun violence. Law abiding blacks ARE being discriminated against with all this silliness.

Maybe some of them know their history and know that free blacks were forbidden to bear arms in many states, or were extra-legally relieved of their firearms by mobs in others.

Al should have read Condi Rice’s biography. SHE supports the Second Amendment.
She remembers her Dad using a gun to stand off the Klan.
She ALOS remembers her Dad going to try and register as a Democrat and being asked to give the number of small contained in a large glass jug before he could do so.
She remembers him then going to a GOP registration center and getting registered with no problem.
In Houston, the morning host on KCOH 1430AM (60 year black run local radio station) has mentioned that he’s had to use a gun several times to protect his home (and he’s a minister or possibly former minister).
Although last year (long after he’d already used a gun himself in self-defense) he was howling at the “tea partiers” who were stockpiling up rounds of ammo. He was telling his audience that they were afraid of black people being in charge. Nope, the gun owners are concerned that the Harvard LIBERALS are going to restrict access to guns and ammo.
Those who try to play this as a racial issue aren’t doing their own community any favors. The goal is to divide the people and turn them against each other rather than having them keep their attention on their government.
Reality slaps Sharpton upside his head.
