Despite a majority of Arizonans and Americans attitudes on illegal immigration, 56% of whom believe illegal immigration is a serious problem, President Obama just doesn’t see it.

Today at American University, President Obama delivered his immigration reform speech, reaffirming his opposition to Arizona’s new immigration law calling it “divisive” and “unenforceable.”

Depending upon which poll you look at, anywhere between 60 and 70% of Arizonans back the law. In fact, more Americans want an Arizona style law in their states.

I can’t stand to watch even a few second clip of the blue-lipped bastard.

So somebody who could stomach watching, tell me.....were there any American flags anywhere in sight during the speech?

Whatever happened to, “Yes we can,” Barry?
Whatever happened to, “hope and change”?

Excellent point! Now he's "Surrender Barry" - we can't get the Gulf oil under control, we can't defeat the Taliban, we can't lead the world economically .... we can't, we can't, we can't .... so much for that blue-sky optimism of Fall 2008.

Didn’t watch, don’t know. BTW, I thought he was a purple-lipped bastard?

If the Arizona law is seen by the President as unenforceable, then how does he describe the Federal Law it mirrors. Oops, answered my own question.

“I can’t stand to watch even a few second clip of the blue-lipped bastard.”

Likewise...I reached a tipping point a few months back when I went from “tolerating for up to one minute” to “instant off”.

It’s only unenforceable if liberals are the enforcers.

“How is it unenforceable?”

Easy, just don’t enforce the law. You know, like the federal version of this law that Obama doesn’t enforce...

Divisive? Absolutely! I welcome the divide between those who wish to preserve our sovereignty and those who wish to see it violated.

I thought the Arizona law was uniting the country - in opposition to the Federal government’s policy of doing nothing.

One of the President’s responsibilities is the enforcement of Federal law. When he does nothing about illegal immigration, he is dodging that responsibility.

Unenforcible?

In the words of the great Charlie Daniels:

“But sit down in that chair, right there, and let me show you how its done.”
