More sad news from the Al Gore camp, who is starting to look more and more like the new John Edwards every day: Gore and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Tipper, will not be attending Chelsea Clinton’s wedding, and event they had reported been “looking forward to” a year ago, before the Gores hit this recent unfortunate patch of events.
New York’s Daily Intel blog reports that a rep for the Gores announced the sad news, and added that “they both wish Chelsea well, believe she is a wonderful young woman, and they share in the family’s excitement.” They also note that, yes, the Gores were invited, and they seemed to be excited about it all before, well, they announced their plans to divorce and Al Gore got caught up in a National Enquirer masseuse pseudo-sex scandal.

Given the fact that they’re likely long time friends of Chels, I suspect they’ve already all had an opportunity to accept/decline an invitation to Lewinsky.
Gore is looking possibly worse than Edwards if that can be believed. Let’s see:
1.Bill Clinton is a known rapist and thug. He raped Juanita Broderick. I have no doubt. Once he got more power the women became easier.
2.Edwards cheated on his sick wife who promotes herself as a martyr and is as power hungry as Hillary. Edwards lied about it the whole time. Sued doctors and is pond scum.
3.Gore may be a semi effective and clumsy serial rapist.
I listened to the woman’s transcript with her talk and she was pretty convinced this was Gore’s standard MO. I think they only way she avoided being raped is she would constantly distract him or fought him off.
Gore is an evil person like the other two.
The Clinton’s and Gore’s hated each other and the Gore’s are getting divorced so I am not surprised the Gore’s will not be present at the criminals wedding. BTW, is Chelsea’s father-in-law out of prison yet?
Makes me wonder what when went on in the Pale Hut when those two were in it...

Both Gore and Edwards were frightenly very close to being POTUS, with Gore only a hearbeat away for 8 years.
Both tried to convince us fools they had a perfect marriage and were perversely and secretly destroying their own.

A wise decision has been made by the Gores. The wedding should be focused on Chelsea and her groom, not on the final gasps in the Gore’s marriage. Very sad for Tipper especially.

The way this spokesperson’s statement is worded, it sounds like they weren’t invited at all, or that they’d been dis-invited.
Oh my. It’s going to be interesting to see how Gore fares after all of this. I am wondering what he was involved in at the time this event allegedly took place. I believe he won the Nobel in November of 2007. Was there a special effort to keep this out of the news so that it would not hurt his nomination? Doggone it, Rush should have won that stupid politicized Nobel.

That’s OK, I was looking for an excuse not to go.
unless chelsea has some 50+ year old bridesmaids, I am pretty sure they are safe from the crazed sex poodle.....as he seems to like them a little more mature.....now, the father of the bride is another story.
