I'm seeing some software but I was looking, perhaps, for a data recovery service.

Google “sdhc data recovery”

It brings up links to software and services.

Throw the chip in the microwave, set it on high for 3 minutes, and that should reattach the contacts. Your chip should work well after that.

data recovery will probably cost more than the music. I could be wrong but dont expect it to be cheap.

I know this doesn’t solve your current problem, but in the future never trust your digital files (whatever they are - music, photos, etc.) to one storage device. Backup, backup, backup, and preferrably in at least two different locations. Then when things like this happen, you just throw the old broken card away because you know you have all the data elsewhere.

Do you have another card reader? Are you using the one in the PC or laptop? Try a USB mounted card reader.

Toss it. Get a new one. Download your music from you backups. Stop bothering us. :)

Freep mail me a list of your songs and your address. I am sure that we can get you a card and the music. Short of an airplane ride I cannot get your photos back. Thanks for your service.
