Biden Claims: No Body Count from Iraq War!
ConservativeAmerican.org ^ | 7/6/10 | Peter Andrew

BIDEN: "I think Americans will recognize that there aren’t body counts . . .that they got 95,000 people home."

Vice President Joe, Joey Buttafuoco, "Bite-me", Biden says there are no body counts from the Iraq war! We all know he's an idiot, but this one perhaps takes the cake. WTH is he talking about?

Remember all the Bush Death Counts the left kept when it was Bush's war?...

Hey Joey, there are indeed body counts. There are thousands of lives that have been lost, and many more that have been changed forever due to the sacrifices those in our military have made in Iraq. You're just hoping all that talk of body counts goes away now that you're in the White House! It was sure okay with you when Georgey Boy was in there!

Oh, and BTW, Joey... a total of 706 soldiers have lost their lives since you and your socialist pal, Obama, took office (as of 7/6/10). But who's counting?

Oh yeah... we are.

ConservativeAmerican.org has been the leading critic of the Bush Death Counts and has used the absurdity of an Obama Death Count to demonstrate the absurdity of what the left did during the Bush terms. Our frequently misunderstood "Obama Death Count" continues to rile up the left...

Biden is the living embodiment of the Peter Principle. One of the reasons that zero keeps him out of public view is that Biden is so incredibly stupid and can’t resist saying incredibly stupid things!!!

If the ‘Pubbies are smart (and, we know that they aren’t), they would start the ‘12 election cycle with a litany of Biden gaffes as a reminder why we don’t want either of these two doofuses re-elected!!

Who can ever regret the media's celebratory orgy of faux-despair and hand-wringing when the Iraq body count hit 2000 American troops?

We are told that McChrystal and Steele must resign because of their “offensive” and “ill conceived” thoughts on the war.

So when are Biden and Obama going to resign for supporting the “General Betray Us” ad from MoveOn.org and using the “dead list” to sink support for the war? When are they going to admit that they were wrong to oppose the surge?

So much offense, so little pressure from the media.

Just curious, but what is the body count from Chicago during the same time frame?

last I heard:

Sep 5, 2008 125 Shot Dead In Chicago Over Summer
Total Is About Double The U.S. Troop Death Toll In Iraq
CHICAGO (CBS)

An estimated 125 people were shot and killed over the summer. That’s nearly double the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq over the same time period.

Overnight violence kills 3, wounds 13
July 05, 2010|By Duaa Eldeib and Carlos Sadovi, Tribune reporters
Chicago police dealing with what is typically the city’s most violent month spent Monday investigating three separate shooting deaths in a six-hour span of the holiday weekend.

At least a dozen people were shot and sent to hospitals overnight Sunday, including one man who initially thought he had been hit with a firecracker.

Police described the overnight hours following Independence Day as “busy” and “hot.” Three men in their 30s died in another round of gun violence.

Wait, wait, wait.....!!!

This bafoon didn't lie....he's not dumb.....he just fell victim to the current liberal accepted term...."mis-spoke".

I'm sure his official team of 237 writers, editors, and helpers will tell us in no uncertain terms what he actually meant.

Of course, it may take them some time to get this done....the average estimated wait time for a "biden correction" now runs at about 2 months.

But still....

1) If it ain’t reported by the lamestream media, then it didn’t happen

2) Iraqi bodies don’t count unless a Republican is in the WH. Then each native death is an atrocity caused by misguided US policy

The Biden remark evokes that old, imponderable question: “If 706 U.S. servicemen are killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, but the mainstream media doesn’t report it, are they still dead?”

I guess when you are an idiot -(Obama) it made sense to pick a MORON -(Biden) to be Vice President. That way by default you don’t look so bad...

Any business has to know its customers.

When the New York Times Company issued its daily prospectus last Sunday, their above-the-fold story was Spc. Brendan Marrocco (Staten Islander who lost his limbs to a roadside bomb in northern Iraq).

http://www.nytimes.com/indexes/2010/07/04/pageone/scan/

The story itself was good. Except it was syndicated 2 days beforehand. Not to mention CBS blogged it in May.

In my personal frame of reference, ‘body count’ represents confirmed enemy KIA.

Of course there is a body count.
It never quit.
It just is not highlighted by most of the press these days since we lose more people to motorcycle accidents than to combat.
That became true in 2008 and now KIA is not even in the top 10 causes of military personnel deaths.

That became true in 2008 and now KIA is not even in the top 10 causes of military personnel deaths.

Leading up to the 2004 election, about 1/3 of the US deaths were non-hostile/non-combat. The first death was on base in Kuwait if I recall (things like forklift accidents).

The Left trumpeted deaths, not service. They dead soldiers were as much a pawn as Cindy Sheehan was a pawn. She thought the DNC actually "cared" about the deaths. Now they (and she) are just an inconvenience.
