He was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended Howard University where he got his BA and his law degree in 1995, and currently practices law in Washington, DC.

Poor oppressed man..no educational opportunity (false), no job opportunities (false), and he's certainly not in this hoopla for the fame and fortune.

I listened to one of the Black Panthers yesterday on Hannity. He explicitly said blacks need to kill whites. That’s not free speech. It’s not protected to make threats of murder, yet who in DOJ is going to take notice? Holder probably agrees with that. If it’s retribution, what is it retribution for? Slavery?? That’s nine generations ago! My ancestors weren’t even in America, most of them, during the relatively brief (compared to Islamic slavery) period of slavery in America. Poverty? No, blacks have caught up to whites economically. So what is it? Some like, Eldridge Cleaver, have blamed “whitey” for their imprisonment for various crimes. Is it wrong to speculate that others just may be externalizing their spiritual problems?? I’d like to hear from someone who knows more about the criminal psychology of “hate whitey.”

The White League was a white paramilitary group started in 1874 that operated to turn Republicans out of office and intimidate freedmen from voting and political organizing. Its first chapter in Grant Parish, Louisiana was made up of many of the Confederate veterans who had participated in the Colfax Massacre in April 1873. Chapters were soon founded in other areas of the state and in New Orleans. During the later years of Reconstruction, it was one of the paramilitary groups described as "the military arm of the Democratic Party." Through violence and intimidation, its members reduced Republican voting and contributed to the Democrats' taking over control of the Louisiana Legislature in 1876.
