The October Surprise Is Coming
The American Thinker ^ | July 13, 2010 | Pamela Geller

The October Surprise. We all know it's coming. In what shape, idea, form -- who's to say? Evil always surprises. Its goals are constant, the ultimate objective never changes, but inevitably it manifests itself as the savior of the day, the savior of man. The 2008 Democrat October Surprise that ushered in the first hardcore radical post-American president in American history was the "economic collapse." Oh yes, that was a beaut.

The time before that, the moochers and the looters tried to fake Bush documents -- except that the conservative blogosphere caught them red-handed, so they missed their mark.

But the party of haters, infiltrators, anti-capitalists, the party that is anti-freedom and anti-individual rights, is going to have to pull off something really catastrophic to stay in power this November. And they will, because it is abundantly clear now that they despise the premise of America and they mean to replace it with statism, the source of untold, incomprehensible human misery for centuries.

every year we’re surprised that the merchants start their advertising and Christmas displays in the stores earlier;
likewise the talk—notice i didn’t say “buzz” - i wasn’t born with a chip in my @$$ - nor schoolhoused in the marxist education/indoctrination system of ameriKa—likewise the talk of october surprise now comes earlier and earlier...

The private sector is proving to be very resilient for those attempting now to destroy it. The moratorium on off-shore drilling won't get it done either.

There's misery, for sure, but every morning I go to work I see others doing the same only now it's different. People are working harder, those that can are working longer hours, increased productivity is no longer being squeezed out of the workforce, the workforce is providing it willingly. This phenomenon you can see around you, every day.

I remember when Rush made his prediction about the Clinton tax increases, then the largest in history, and Rush had to eat his hat. It's not that the tax increases weren't egregious, Rush's prediction was sound from a static scoring standpoint, it's just that he failed to take into account the adjustments and the adaptations that private sector players would make to keep what they had. I'm not saying at all that what Obama is attempting to do is a good thing, just that the Chicago red-thugs have not a clue how powerful the private sector can be, especially when faced with adversity.

America isn't like pre-Lenin Russia, or pre-Mao China, we've had two hundred years of economic freedom-and we like it. We're going to be like weeds-you take us out here, we pop up there.

You're not going to kill us Barack, we have enough cash to outlast you, and outlast you we will.

Thanks for the post. We need to fight, but stay positive. I get tired of this sky is falling, let’s slit our wrist mentality. Well, I’m going to work now.

Evil always surprises

This is one of the most frustrating facts of life: Bad things happen quickly, Good things happen very, very, slowly.

You think the Democrats aren't really that bad?

Obama himself has plainly shown that there is no low level to which he will not stoop, no lie so big he will not tell it, no law so great he will not break it, so sin so hideous he will not commit it.

There is nothing Obama will NOT do to destroy this country!

I used to think Obama was a socialist, but a socialist wants the government to own the means of production.

Obama does not want to own the means of production, he wants to destroy them.

I used to think Obama wanted to give his people a leg up in the American society, culture and economy, but this race war he is fomenting will destroy America.

Obama is the ultimate terrorist. He is not bombing a building, he is not decimating a city or even a state...he is destroying this nation.

Allahu Akbar, indeed...eh, Barky?

Resist? Sounds like many on this thread have given up hope... I have lots of determination and energy for America... they will have to kill me to stop me from working for the return of Reagan’s America.

I agree with you. Our elected ‘conservatives’ come to a ‘dirty’ fight while trying to obey the ‘Queensbury Rules’ of boxing or something..

But also,

” “the political tools of truth, exposure, ridicule, disparagement, impeachment, criminal prosecution, and politically-incorrect anger must be added to our arsenal of peaceful weapons against tyranny. ...”

Seems to me that these socialists have gotten their grip fully around our law-enforcement system. To the point that even when they ARE exposed and irrefutable facts are presented, they are not prosecuted honestly and get away with SO much anymore.
We citizens have little else to do but throw up our hands when this administration does as it pleases - and nobody seems to have any power to defend the nation against it anymore.

I myself was first aware of this during the Clinton years. How that man and his wife are not behind bars STILL amazes me. And gives me deep sorrow for this country.

A BS statement from start to finish.

There has been some publicity recently about certain banks establishing special procedures for dealing with muzzie customers.

I wouldn’t put it past them to stage an assination attempt and pin it on the Tea Party members.

I don’t cede the power of evil to “always” surprise, though I completely ‘feel ya’ on the frustration aspect. I think it’s more being frustrated with ourselves for not having seen it coming & doing something about it in hindsight.

Evil is by nature, self-limiting, because outside of a very narrow purview, it primarily (mostly “only”) considers itSELF.
It has self-imposed blinders. It is like the rate-limiting chemical.

Don’t mean to be too ‘out there’ with my thinking, it’s just that thinking this way gives me hope. Consider the multiplicative properties of positive and negative.
Positive (as a metaphor for good) “wins” 2/3 of the time.
I see this in the Bible’s description of the outcome of the war in heaven. The ‘loser’s’, those who joined Satan’s rebellion, were cast to the earth; Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth...

Personally, I have been ‘surprised’ by evil - most certainly, been blind-sided a time or two :), but like Pearl Harbor in a way...I should’ve seen it coming. In the unforgiving light of hindsight, I DID actually see it coming - and failed to act on it. I’ve learned to trust my gut better, because one big way evil accomplishes its temporary purposes...our brains just ‘can’t get around’ its horridness, and our hearts are slow to catch up.

There may be a September surprise, if the Rapture occurs.

If all the righteous people leave to be with YHvH.

No Democrat will be Raptured
