Dr. Terry Jones and his followers at Dove World Outreach Center, are one of the most outspoken groups against Islam. Recently they had protested outside a Florida Mosque, and in the past they came out in force with their “Islam is the Devil” shirts. They even wrote out that slogan, using Christmas lights outside their Church. In their latest attempt to draw attention to this issue, they have created the “International Burn A Koran Day” Facebook page.

I like it when people have the media savvy to know how to bring an issue to the forefront.
And this issue REALLY needs bringing to the forefront.
I have biblical examples of God tearing down idols.
They like it more when you get them wet. Toilet water, for instance, makes them foam at the mouth. Urine, even better. Pig’s blood is best. Use bacon strips as bookmarks. Photograph loogeys being spit into it. Why even the individual pages make great toilet paper !
Don’t burn them. Burning them only wastes these things. Korans aren’t that easy to get ahold of. At least, in my case, where I refuse to actually pay money for them. I couldn’t afford it anyway - at the rate I go through Korans throughout the year.
How would one get that horrid book to the bonfire?

Things are going to get very ugly in regards to Islam in the West. I could see civil wars breaking, starting in the UK.

Elijah slaughtered 400 prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18. I think today the multitude of weak-kneed but well-intentioned would condemn him for that act.

The Koran is no better than Mein Kampf. Should that book be respected as well? Maybe people should of been nice in regards to Nazism as well.

Given the similarity in their behavior, it's possible that the nice people at Dove would have been nice toward the Nazis.
Prayer for the conversion of those mired in the slime of Islam would be much more Christian.
Fortunately they still have the right to burn paper and act out their beliefs.

Fact is that most Christians sit silently, as their brothers and sisters are persecuted under Islamic rule. Being Mr. Nice Guy is not the answer.
Things are going to get real nasty across the West, because of Muslim immigration.
I understand your point, but the support for this Church is growing. Calling the problem “radical” Islam, is nothing more than a politically correct approach, as Islam itself is the problem, and aspects of Sharia Law are already here. We are not even close to winning this war, and a major reason for this, is the silence of the Christian community.
For the record Louisiana, and Norway have banned Sharia Law. It’s a start.
