Facebook Deletes Member Pages Over Gadsden Flag (RUMOR)

Facebook has sensationally banned the official Alex Jones Facebook page after a customer services representative admitted that all material containing images of the famous Gadsden flag was being deleted by the social networking giant.

Not confirmed as of now. I suppose the best way to find out is to post a Gadsden flag on Facebook!

Meanwhile, I went over to FB and did searches on "Black Power" and "Nazi", and found plenty symbols and references for both of those.

I think we should get on there and send them email...except I can't find the email for their "admin"...

Given Jones' looniness, it might have had to do with something else and he's just trying to wrap it in the Gadsden to rally sane Conservaitves. There are still plenty of "mainstream" Conservatives with active Facebook pages: Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck and sidekick Stu, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Tea Party Patriots, etc.

Facebook is not that bad, and can be what you want it to be. Just ask Sarah Palin who uses it regularly to tweak the White House and their lamestream lackeys.

I just checked and that page is still there, at that, I use it often to help identify and weed out the nuts off my friends list (any mutual friends with Jones are gone unless they are family).

..another confirmation this is a bogus rumor, I just checked my friends list and at least a dozen have the Gadsden as their profile pic.

These type of rumors about Facebook pop up all the time and so far none seem to have been true. I think they are just ploys to drive attention to another page (such as spreading a rumor about Alex Jones’ page being removed there to drive up searches for his page.)

I new someone would take it as a “conservative only” site. What I meant was establish it from a conservative standpoint. And no, don’t ban liberals but don’t ban anything that supports our countrys history. Facebook is extremely successful but in most cases, it can go to their heads to the point that they feel they can do anything they want. If this is what is happening, they will eventually lose out to another program that is open to all views. Free Republic is not a Facebook style of program and was never meant to be.
