Are you talking about Boston brown bread. Isn't that stuff still available? Seems like I've seen it.

Ya really think they were raisins huh????

Just like aboard ship, the flecks, specks etc in the fresh baked bread...swear some of them survived the ovens but we called them proteins, even when moving.....ha....
