Cue up the music from "Life Styles of the Rich and Famous"! The Obamas are going to bring the kids to Spain. They will be staying in a city called 'Marbella'. You know it takes a lot out of a boy king to have to deal with oil spills, two wars, and JournoList! He has to go where he is loved and appreciated: Europe.
So, any suggestions where they and the kids should eat? Any good Spanish/Muslim hang outs? How about deserts and soul food? Certainly freepers can come up with a few good suggestions.

I guess Wendy’s and Dominos are out of the question for Obama because of their former owners’ pro-life positions. But there are plenty of other American companies working abroad.

The first family is scheduled to visit the Gulf coast at some point in August. This, of course for political gain ... the kids go swimming amongst the tar balls briefly then depart on AF One for southern Spain. What’s wrong with this picture?

I really think they should vacation in Florida or elsewhere on the Gulf Coast. Wasn’t FLOTUS just down there telling Americans to come on down? Will they EVER practice what they preach?

I’ve been to Marbella, but I didn’t get to stay at a 4- or 5- property... hopefully there’ll be lots of photos taken so we can live vicariously through “O” and his excellent circus adventures.

According to the publication I see he is only to be in Spain in August, not September. Do you have a link to the information where he is to be in Spain on 9-11?

What I meant to be clear is that, (1) the claim is that Obama will vacation in Marabella in August. And (2) 11 August through 9 September 2010 is Ramadan.
