Here’s a nice tidbit on the Shirley Sherrod charade, from now forward known as the Shirley Charade. You remember her, don’t you? She’s the former USDA employee that the incompetent Obama administration fired because of a video that was supposed to show her making racist statements.
The point of the video was to show the reaction of the NAACP racist crowd that she was speaking to, but that was the point of another of my rants. But it does remind me of an old saying that birds of a feather do flock together. Not only that, they also marry.
Here’s a video of Shirley Charade’s partner, her love interest, her mate, her racist husband. Now, I know what you’re thinking…there you go again, Scott, throwing those labels around. Well, you’re correct in that I like to throw around labels, but this label is one being thrown around by the left so I thought I’d borrow it for awhile.
I’m going to borrow it so I can show you who Shirley Charade is married to. He’s a civic activist, only his activism apparently only extends a helping hand to black people, because he doesn’t have many nice things to say about white people. Says he, "We must stop the white man and his Uncle Toms from stealing our elections." That darn Obama, that Uncle Tom stole Mr. Charade’s election, or so it seems.
It seems that Mr. Charade isn’t interested in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness…no, sir. He’s interested in black life, black liberty, and black happiness, and he’s going to make sure of it by running candidates that represent black interests only. To hell with those damn white folks!
To quote Mr. Charade from the video, “The tears that we've shed, so many times.... When the TV and the newspaper comes out the day of an election, or the day before an election. And tell white folk, all over, wherever we are running somebody for an office ... that blacks are going to TAKE that office over. And thousands are coming to the polls. And you gotta get it.”
Institutional racism has long been over in this country. So people like Charles Charade take a different path to the top. People like Charles Charade don’t have the ability to lead by example. They don’t have the ability to step up and lead men and women of all backgrounds. They don’t have much of ability to do anything but…but…create anger and discontent among people of all walks of like, using race as a weapon to create this anger and hate. They take this anger and shape it into a movement and convince people they have to fight an enemy that doesn’t exist. Remember, if Charade didn’t have the evil enemy he created, he’d have no one to fight and no one to lead.
Obama was elected by a majority of white voters. They didn’t vote for his white half, they voted for all of him. The voters believed that Obama would lead them to better days. The voters didn’t care about his color, his background, his looks. They voted for a guy who made promises (none of which he has kept). Since being elected, Obama has created more racial discord in this country that he’ll ever fix. Shirley Charade and her racist husband are just two more fine examples of that.

It is not working for the Crats. Sharpton was not even out there. They need something to get the blacks going and this is not it.
How can I forget? CNN essentially forfeited an entire day of airtime to her.
In all the back-and-forth about this mid-tier bureaucrat, otherwise indistinguishable from thousands of other PC groupthinkers, the one thing I HAVEN'T seen mentioned is this:
Why are we supposed to care so much? People in the private sector lose jobs every single day, some for legitimate reasons, some on the whim of the boss. Some of these people make a lot money, others make very little. The point is that everyone is treating the dismissal of a DC desk jockey like the ouster of Winston Churchill regardless of the issues at hand.
When the media, the government and anyone else wringing their hands over the fate of Shirley Sherrod start worrying about employment in an actual productive endeavor then I may start worrying about Shirley bleedin' Sherrod.

Do you speak English at all? Is there another language you would feel more comfortable with?
You really expect the race industry to fold up, close up, and slink away? Not gonna happen. There’s too much money to be made keeping Blacks down (deliberately) so that the democrats can blame their situation on Republicans.
Hardly original to say it but wouldn’t a truly racist nation be actively working against ALL non-white people?
It’s also hardly original to point out the advances and successes of Asian Americans (Indian, Japanese, Chinese) but those successes conclusively prove that covert and/or overt racism is effectively a non-entity.
When will the race hustlers be asked to explain this glaring contradiction?
