Democrats are waking up from their 'Obama dreamin', and all of a sudden, realize they are in serious trouble politically.
Well, you know it is bad when 'ole snake eyes' is calling for armageddon. If you want to see the key quote, go to the 5 minute mark...but in reality, the entire ABC/Washington Post poll is spelling 'D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R' for the Democrat Party.
And heck, look at liberal outlets like Time, and what they have to say:

Neither have turned out the way that they planned.

Don’t worry, Democrats. When the GOP gets into power, they still vote for your socialist legislation. Oh sure, some people might get tax cuts or one of your social programs may not get it’s full budget increase, but they do a pretty good job of keeping the Progressive agenda moving forward. This has to do with a tin ear on the controling majority in the GOP - Rinos. They can not bring themselves to explore for real what voters want because it is beneath them.

In Washington today, short of Grover Norquist and AFP, there is no conservative leadership. They’re too busy fundraising and infighting to get serious about going after Obama and grassroots organizing.
One of the greatest disappointments is ALG. Its Right to Work-trained president was one of the greatest organizers I ever knew. Then he hires a national political director who greatest claims to fame are out-of-control screaming fits and the NY23 debacle he engineered — and their entire grassroots operation has gone to seed.

Let’s face it, DeMint talks a good story, but he backs the RINOs to the hilt; he is in Romney and Graham’s pockets.

Her hat never came out of the ring.
She is the defacto leader of the entire conservative movement, party lines not withstanding. She is an astute politician, and knows what she is doing. By backing candidates in the 2010 cycle she is building a coalition that will carry her through the 2012 primaries.

I agree that Palin is that fearless voice. However, that voice is really limited to criticism of the current regime and broad principles for the future.
The movement conservatives are being held in check by the establishment...they don't want to put an agenda, a strategy on the street. I honestly believe they believe they can win this election big by just keeping their mouths shut.
Sad, small, spineless bastards.
And, they may be right.
However, eventually they'll be called into account for POLICY EXPRESSIONS and ACTIONS.
And, I think they STILL won't know what to do...even with power.
