Is it time for Glenn Beck to become Ross Perot?

"We commit ourselves to organize, to educate, to participate in the political process, and to hold our public servants accountable. We shall rebuild our country, renew its economic, moral and social strength, and return the sovereignty of America to her people." Does that sound familiar? Does it remind you of Glenn Beck? And the 9/12 movement? And the Tea Parties? Beck already has the blackboard, and is aleady.......

We don’t need one person to run for office, we need for 500 to run. A thousand. And we need to clear out a fair percentage of the bozos who are already there purportedly representing us. This is bigger than one man. Beck is doing an admirable job communicating the issues and that is the right place for him. He can do more good doing what he is doing.

Glenn Beck has more scruples than Perot. He won’t partner up with Obamao to assure our getting a Democrat for president.

Beck isn't a leader but, like you say, he is a Paul Revere.

My husband who usually takes this stuff with a grain of salt, couldn't sleep after watching his show last night. He looked at me and said, "Is it time to leave?"

I don't think I could take him crying during the "State of the Union" address...or replacing the teleprompter with a blackboard.

He needs to stay right where he is...besides, he'll probably agree with Rush, he couldn't affort the pay cut.

Glenn Beck has put more on the line, and has done vastly more to save this country on TV, Radio, Print and online than unknown poster “cowboyway” has.

A little perspective for the next time you see fit to judge his intelligence.

Glenn Beck is an idiot.

He does play the COURT JESTER during his show. Seems to work. It's difficult to get people to listen to a long string of details, difficult to get them interested in politics, harder to keep anyone's attention for more than 3 1/2 minutes at a time.

For those of you who say Beck is an idiot, I say you haven’t even watched the show. WWE playing that day?

He has more common sense and honesty than any hero we have ever had to date. Tiger Woods is no longer a role model.

He would not run for any office.
He likes it where he is. So, don’t worry.

Perot gave us Clinton but I disagree if you think that was bad

Bush (the Elder) was CAVING in to democraps giving us the FIRST biggest tax increase in history- so he was a RINO and needed to go! 4 more years would have given us more democrap programs...

Clinton proved what idiots liberals are and got us a REPUBLICAN CONGRESS for the FIRST TIME IN 40 YEARS!

The RINO republicans then lost that for us...

I think Obambi might get us a republican congress elected again- but I am 10 times more afraid he will do something stupid and take over with martial law or something

clintoon may have been a stupid womanizing liberal clown- but I dont think he was a socialist or communist the way this guy is.

So, by your standards, if one doen't like Beck one is a flaming faggot Hollywood libtard? I guess I picked the wrong one to call an idiot, idiot.

Next thing you know your leg will be rubbing against Lindsay Lohan's!

Have you seen Lindsay Lohan's legs?!? Man, you just proved you're and idiot.

Beck may not be the best candidate for the office of POTUS but he is not an idiot!

Well then, change that to buffoon. Happy?

But Bush the Elder gave us Perot because he ignored the job sucking sound produced by unbalanced trade deals, as has all his successors.

Glenn Beck is more John the Baptist—in the wilderness crying out—The one to come is just around the corner. Look to someone outside the political system. Maybe a war hero or a success in business. Maybe a writer or TV personality.

There is a big difference between not liking the idea of Glenn Beck running for POTUS and his being an idiot!

Only Hollywood Miscreants take pleasure in calling people they don't agree with an idiot.

The Village People have a Cowboy in their group.

Here is one each old man in way south of Mississippi that likes him, he gives us a good message everyday and when you think about it, he is right. Daughter tells me when Glenn in on TV and I am watching, it looks like I am following a ball being bounced on a floor, up-down up-down.

Vote for him if he ran? don't think so, he is like a preacher, voice the word on the truth about these folks in office, and his advisers and beliefs.

he’s weak on Jefferson

he thinks Teddy Roosevelt was a monster and that Lincoln was God

and then cries about the Leviathan’s growth

he is inconsistent and race panders...ad nauseum

he reminds me of some yankee freepers

Maybe me!
I’m told I’m a “hard one to get a handle on” and I know I have a “hyperactive sense of justice” (in the classical-liberal American way: Everyone is equal under the law).
Hell, I’m starting to think the best way to get all the corruption out of our system is to be “f-ing dickheads” about the law towards public-official violators: if they are found guilty of Conspiracy Against Rights ( http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode18/usc_sec_18_00000241——000-.html ) then put them to the MAXIMUM allowed punishment. (e.x. If some-officials kidnap or attempts to kidnap [i.e. false arrests] someone while executing their conspiracy then put them to death.)

A perfect example is in this three-part video:
Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wKRKGqYZjI&feature=related
Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PI4rkECqWg&feature=related
Part 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfFbX1CE4zA&feature=related

Really? Or was it milquetoast Republicans fronting a RINO that did that? Seems to me that "Read My Lips" didn't go over very well. Neither did "Brady Bill" Bob Dole.

As I recall it, the Perot movement turned out to be all about Perot (in Perot's mind). 'Popular movement' rhetoric aside, it turned out that nobody was allowed to play in Perot's sandbox but him.

Cult-of-me isn't really a good model for the Tea Party movement.
