It appears Obama disdains these kids and everything they stand for.

We all know what a Boy Scout HE was in his youth. /ridicule.

Leftists hate the boy-scouts and what they represent. They talk about God. They promote individual initiative. They don’t accept homosexuals. They talk about traditional values.

This isn’t entirely accurate. Obama didn’t choose “The View” over the BSA, he chose a multi-million dollar fundraiser in NYC. “The View” was just a convenient excuse to get US taxpayers to foot the bill to NY, rather than the Obama campaign.

I am glad he didn’t go. Think of the lessons the Scouts would have learned that day about hypocrisy.

Obama probably feared he’d lose control around so many young boys ~ the sweating hands, panting breathlessness, and shaking would probably give him away.

the president declined an invitation to this week's Boy Scout National Jamboree, opting to tape an episode of The View instead.

That's alright, they don't need anymore "gays" coming in there, laying guilt trips on them and telling them what to do.

I'm glad he chose "The View". That way, the boys won't have to sit and listen to his blather, in person, though they would have been quiet, and respectful of his office, no matter their personal feelings.

Their actions would be in stark contrast to the reception the Boy Scouts received from the members of the President's party at their national convention in 2008.

I was at the First National Jamboree held st AP Hill in the early eighties. I am glad he did not desecrate the ground.
