Think "JFK bait" and you'll get the concept. And as any regular reader of The Camp of the Saints (an otherwise serious conservative New Media outlet) will tell you, he likes 'em with some curves.
His features of 50s and 60s starlets run under the theme of The Don't Make 'em Like That Anymore are actually quite educational- I hadn't even heard of half of them, but many had an interesting part to play in the celebrity society of their day. And while this blog does not participate in the "Rule 5" babe-blogging/linkfests, many do... and Bob's posts are the only ones you could really call "classy"- no foul-mouthed trash like Lindsay Lohan here...
Alas, as of late he's been veering a bit in selection process... particularly with some of the modern-era ones. What do you think? Check 'em out, his main page is teeming with honeys of yesteryear in full Technicolor:

Three paragraphs, one photo and a poll really aren’t worth clicking into. For me at least. With all that is available, if content isn’t there, I might be lured in once but will never go back. Starting to compile a list from FR of those to avoid. Not being snide but this site goes on it.

I know exactly your feelings about the “blogliferation” going on. You might, however, want to give RR another shot.

My apologies then. Fun stuff is great. The topic you choose is good too. I thought the OP was another attempt to get people to click into their blog. Recently on FR the number of those posts has become more than annoying...find myself not even clicking in from some headlines on FR to read a post because I suspect there is nothing there but someone trying to promote themselves without having anything there of substance to promote.

I know this one was pushing the line, but Belvedere’s pretty famous (The Camp of Saints) and I thought he deserved a little early-morning ribbing from the Freepers... I think the girls he features are a little on the plump side, lol

Figures. I see ten posts which are "blogliferation", restrain myself from replying and then, when I do reply, I hit someone who isn't doing it.

I need some posting help and I guess this thread may be a good one to request it. I am in Florida and I get a Florida Post at the top of the articles posted. My son is running for Justice of the Peace in Austin, TX, Travis County, Precinct 3. I would like to give an info post on the Texas board for voters in his Precinct, but I don’t know how to post a Vanity to the Texas board. It is not a major issue as he is campaining hard locally, but every bit of support is important. Thanks for any help.
