David Letterman, speaking to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow on his show, asked about the Shirley Sherrod incident and took it upon himself to slam Andrew Breitbart. At one point during the interview he asked her “how much time, energy was wasted on this a*shole ****ing around?”
Maddow described Breitbart as a “spinoff from Matt Drudge, from the Drudge Report.” Breitbart, indeed, used to serve as an editor of the Drudge Report, but her intentions in mentioning the Drudge Report probably amount to the effectiveness of the site to sway public debate– not to mention millions of viewers visiting per day. Two targets for the price of one. After all, anyone from MSNBC at this point has to be pretty bitter due to their horrific ratings.

He uses his stand up routine nightly to shew and berate anything, and anyone conservative.
It is influencing people that only check out the show for a bit of humor, and going to sleep nonsense. Too bad so much of his tweaked/shewed slant gets a pass from many. MO
I watched Julie Roberts on his show last evening. Her part was good. It makes me angry every time I go there. Yet it hasn't changed , since Jimmy Carter days. He loved the Clinton's, and slammed The Bushes.

With Maddow around, Letterman had better keep a close eye on the female subordinates around the office he’s shagging.
Time to stop taking these people seriously, and just ignore them. Who the hell is Letterman to be lecturing us on politics?
Forget Letterman, I want to know who said: “People want to know what Letterman thinks about this issue. Let’s interview him.”

I hate to admit, I used to be a fan of Letterman, finding him more entertaining than Leno or Kimmel. Then when I saw how cruel and biased he was toward McCain, and especially toward Palin. He lowered himself to the level of perverted scum the way he talked about Palin’s children. Every nite during the Bush years, he would have a “great moments in Presidential speeches” and make fun of soundbites of Bush, but does he dare even bring up all of the 0’s goofs? No, of course not, that woudl be racist.
Letterman is a certified pervert. why he is not arrested by now is beyond me. I fear for the safety of his son, really I do.
