"Sarah Palin's Alaska" will premiere Nov. 14 at 9 on TLC, the network announced Friday.
The eight-part series, produced by reality king Mark Burnett, will feature the former Alaskan governor, her family, and for at least one episode, Kate Gosselin and her children.
"The Palins recently shared their Alaska with the Gosselin family, and that camping trip will be part of an episode," TLC president and general manager Eileen O'Neill told television reporters in Beverly Hills.

This woman is a brilliant politician.
She has a knack of keeping her name in the news, and herself in the spotlight.
Right when the mid-terms end, the pundits are already going to start talking about 2012. Her book comes out in November, and this TV special does too. Think people will care if Romney, Huckabee, Thune, Daniels, or Pawlenty will announce? No, all eyes will be on Palin, and the liberal media will be breathless with will-she-run stories.

Sarah could get even MORE ATTENTION by having these losers on her show too! Just think of the PUBLICITY she'd get.
Looks to me that it was part of the deal, to appear with Gosselin. Either have her for one show and get something positive for Alaska, or do nothing.
I’m sure you would do nothing. Sarah, on the other hand, wants to do something positive for Alaska, and if it meant having Gosselin for one show, so be it. You can choose not to watch the show, but millions of Americans will. That’s what matters. Especially if “independents” see her under another light.

I don't need to pretend I am STUPID or DUMB and hide behind not being “judgmental”. This is a STUPID move. Maybe I give Sarah Palin too much credit. Maybe for Sarah Palin it is a DUMB move. SUrely you know the difference between STUPID and DUMB and God forbid if someone states the truth about this woman, Sarah Palin.

This was not Palin's decision. It was TLC's decision, sheesh.
Iirc, the sextuplets were conceived by intra-uterine sperm transfer and Clomid dosage, not IVF. Totally nuts, imo, but it is a very different procedure.
