he is pandering to a very angry electorate. besides the elites in fairfax the rest of the state is turning deep red once again. i didn’t believe his sincerity in that wsj post for a second. the new pentagon cuts are another attack on the people of VA that he has to manage as well.

Webb managed to throw together a voting coalition made up of Black Democrats, white racists who usually don't even bother voting, and so-called Independents ~ through the simple expedient of having the Washington Post mount a campaign against his opponent's mother for having been Jewish during WWII.

I think he just busted the back of his coalition ~ so call his next campaign "Broke Back, Pouting" 'cause this sucker is gonna' lose so bad!
