In college one my friends found Eastern religion. To each his own, I say. However, once this happened he became an insufferable bore. Specifically, every conversation became a quasi-philosophical lecture about the meaning of life and how I was focused on the wrong things. Needless to say we stopped being friends. There are only so many lectures I could listen to in college, and most were from my professors.
I think about this long-lost friend every time President Acorn opens his mouth. Don't get me wrong, I have never been on friendly terms with the President's liberalism. However, it is not his policies as much as his nagging that so many of us find infuriating.
On race, then Candidate Acorn made a media-friendly speech as a follow up to the Reverend Wright fiasco (although if the press does not report the story of a racist minister, I suppose it does not qualify as a fiasco). In the speech we were lectured to as children by Obama. Later, Attorney General Holder would take Obama's cue, and lecture us about how cowardly we are all on issues of race.
This past week, President Obama lectured us on what ignoramuses we are when it comes to the issue of allowing a mosque a few blocks from Ground Zero. Of coarse a Greek Orthodox church destroyed on 9/11 is in limbo after the city of New York put up obstacles to rebuilding. All obstacles were cleared (including allowing the mosque’s dome to tower over the planned memorial). Obama knows that it is more important to build a victory mosque near Ground Zero than to rebuild an old Greek Orthodox church that had stood for a hundred years.

Excellent poster.
I work with a number of honest liberals (such do exist!) who have NEVER brought up Obama in at least 9 months. Even those primed to like him can be honest about what an annoying ass this guy is.
