When Glenn Beck came to Fox News his show was brilliant and a cant miss program that was interesting, creative, and a real threat to Obama and the Liberals. During the past year and half is show has steadily declined since it began and has now become completely unwatchable. For his first 6 months I never missed a episode and now I could care less about Beck. There are many reasons I lost interest in Beck and no longer watch and listen to him.
Glenn Beck is not a conservative and both his TV show and radio show have become annoying. Beck has devolved into nothing more than a fickle Paultard that is both condesending and patronizing. Glenn Beck is not a conservative and not really for the advancement of conservatism. Beck has bought into the Ron Paul agenda hook line and sinker. My take is that Beck has run out of stuff to stay and is now boring and idiotic. He is not advancing the Conservative agenda and is pretty much promoting the Paultard agenda that seeks to undermine real a real conservative agenda. Plus his annoying theme song on the radio is awful and really annoying just like Beck.
Glenn Beck is a huckster and with nothing of value to say that has not already been said by smarter people that are not fickle Paultards. Beck puts out a crappy book every few months and has his one man shows and comedy tour and even goes on tour with Ted Baxter, himself OReilly. Glenn Beck has lost and I contend does not really believe in anything. His CPAC routine was terrible and it may have been the point where I began to see him for what he is and stated liking him less.
The Ron Paul/ Judge Napolitano brand of libertarianism is not conservative and in fact undermines Conservatives. Ron Paul at the 2008 Republican Debate seemed like a darn infiltrator and Beck now seems like a darn fool and a boring one at that. Libertarians are under-miners and not on the side conservatives. Beck is a flake that is for sure and both he and his shows are tiresome. Glenn Beck seems to lack the bite and credibility he once had. The Friday show is a complete waste . I am tired of history lessons from a guy that did not even go to college and uses a chalkboard in 2010. The act is idiotic, boring, and repetitive. I think we can safely say Glenn Beck is no Rush Limbaugh, he is not even Sean Hannity.
A lot of people have stopped watching his program for various reasons. Mine may be different that others” reasons.
Rush spent some time a few weeks ago talking about his wedding. Rush stays more focused than any other host. There is very little wated time on Rush’s show.
I would say you either don’t really watch his program or you think you know it all, because his shows on history have been downright awsome and the shows last week should have been required watching for every black person in this country. As to the blackboard.. your comments in that regard show a real sense of elitism and a lack of understanding why it works so well.
Then go straight to the source:
and THEIR links WILL work.
(Hey! It's my normoal C&P from MORMON sources. Who knows why they don't copy right...)
Is that in the southern area of the country?
By cracky; I think it is!
I dont dislike Glenn Beck, and often listen to his TV show, especially his Founders Fridays which I record to supplement my sons American history lessons. But often he says things I strongly disagree with, like when he talks about a moral equivalencies between the Republicans and the Democrats. This is when he is showing his Libertarian stripes and is sounding more like a Ron Paul, a Michael Savage, or even the conspiracy obsessed Larouchers, than he does a Rush Limbaugh. This same disagreement can be seen right here on FR as we have our own 12% or so Libertarians who post here.
Let me be clear, There is NO moral equivalencies between the two Parties.
Granted the Republicans are not perfect, but when you look at how they voted on funding the troops, obamacare, tax cuts, the non-Stimulus Package, and how this minority party stands in the way of the Pelosi / Obama agenda time and time again, bringing that out of control train to a crashing halt, I cant help but be proud to be a Republican.
He doesn’t have to tote the GOP water for them, but If Beck would only stress more the importance of the Republicans taking back power in November and then holding the Republican Leaders feat to the fire, I would have a whole lot more interest in his show, and more positives things to say about his show.
Yeah I agree. Beck is one of the best people out there. I found him in 2002 on radio and enjoyed his jokes and radio shtick. Then He actually started to make sense. Then I followed him on to HLN and no Fox News. Having followed him that long, I know he has his share of detractors. Namely they are Beltway Republicans, Statists, Rinos, the MSM and related blogs on the web, Alex Jones libertarians and people jealous of his success on the conservative right.
Most libertarians are fiscal conservatives and social liberals, so Beck could fall down that hole.
Problem is that a group of Alex Jones truthers dislike Glenn Beck. That group is brainwashed by both Jones and Ron Paul. They aren’t John Stossel type Libertarians or anything like Ron’s son Rand.
“Get on your knees and pray”!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every morning...he’s a little crazy.....
I guess my point is some libertarians don’t want him as their own. They thought he was kooky like them. Thought he liked Alex Jones. But I would say personally that Glenn Beck is a mix between Libertarianism and Conservatism. If you saw his Fox News new show since it began, he used to always saw he leaned Libertarian. But he dropped that statement over the last few months. Now he says he is fiscal minded and the such. I think he might be a mix between John Stossel, who used to go on his tv show, and Congressman Steve King, who has gone on his radio show and who Beck admires. Beck likes Michele Bachmann as well.
Any social liberalism is bad.
Glenn Beck went on a kick of bashing Progressives. He then wanted and did enlighten the public on what a real progressive is. Taking that angel as he did, He noted Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive and started his own progressive party. So he correlated it to the fact that progressives are trying to take over the country and infiltrate both parties. He tied it all back to Juan McAmnesty. Juanny boy is a progressive. Juan likes Teddy. SO with all that in mind he hot the rinos between the eyes and tied them to being progressives not conservatives or traditional republicans. The Republican has a problem with people like Lindsey Grahmnesty and Olympia Snowe in the party. So Beck states that both parties suck and just like gets flack on the left by Progressives/ Liberals/ Statists/ Marxists then the right attacks hima s well. Namely a guy named Mark Levin, who seems to be out trying to defend McCain.
My point is that Glenn Beck 100% aware that bad republicans are dragging the party down in flames. He talked bad about Scott Brown because he knew Brown would do what he did and rubber stamp some of Obama’s agenda. He wasn’t against Obama as mush as some in the tea party thought he was. Beck wanted to alert the public of it and he did and it was true.
Correction on spelling as I wrote fast and did not proofread:
Glenn Beck went on a kick of bashing Progressives. He then enlightened the public on what a real progressive is. Taking that angle as he did, he noted Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive and started his own progressive party. So he correlated it to the fact that progressives are trying to take over the country and infiltrate both parties. He tied it all back to Juan McAmnesty. Juanny boy is a progressive. Juan likes Teddy. So with all that in mind he hit the rinos between the eyes and tied them to being progressives not conservatives or traditional republicans. The republican party has a problem with people like Lindsey Grahmnesty and Olympia Snowe in the party. They rubber stamp Obama. So Glenn Beck stated that both parties suck. Therefore just like he is prone to getting flack on the left by Progressives/Liberals/Statists/Marxists then the he started getting flack on the right. They attacked him as well. Namely a guy named Mark Levin, who seems to be out trying to defend McCain. You can’t talk bad about Romney, Brown, McCain and Bush before people go after you in the Republican party.
So my point is that Glenn Beck is 100% aware that bad republicans are dragging the party down in flames. He talked bad about Scott Brown, for example, because he knew Brown would do what he did and rubber stamp some of Obamas agenda. He wasnt against Obama as mush as some in the tea party thought he was. Beck wanted to alert the public of it and he did and it was true.
Not sure what Beck thinks because of late Glenn Beck has been busy with 8/28 rally. But it is a mess.
On The McCain thread I said that he didn’t do enough to go after McCain. Likewise, the same can be said for Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, and others did not do jack either to go against McCain. So they shouldn’t then be crying when he supports the left. Limbaugh just whines from time to time.
Hannity likes McCain on his shows and that is why many hate Hannity. Hannity shills for the Rinos. Hannity never once gave the soon to be Governor of Florida, Rick Scott, a interview since he announced his run. Hannity is a hypocrite. Not to beat my dead horse but anybody that endorsed Todd Tiahrt here in Kansas, like Sean Hannity, is a hypocrite. That is why I went for the other guy Jerry Moran who was conservative and won.
But back to Glenn Beck. He moved in another direction and has not been bashing McCain of late. Instead he has been busy with so much else.
My God man, I'm not a fan of McCain either, but the McCain Derangement Syndrome is a line I will not cross.
We need 50 or more seats in the Senate. If McCain sits in one, voting 90% of the time with the Republicans, that is a whole lot better than giving that seat to someone who votes 100% with the Democrats.
