Go find the exact quote and give it to me, in context. I’ll then decide whether it was intentionally dividing or not.
I dont dislike Glenn Beck, and often listen to his TV show, especially his Founders Fridays which I record to supplement my sons American history lessons. But often he says things I strongly disagree with, like when he talks about a moral equivalencies between the Republicans and the Democrats. This is when he is showing his Libertarian stripes and is sounding more like a Ron Paul, a Michael Savage, or even the conspiracy obsessed Larouchers, than he does a Rush Limbaugh. This same disagreement can be seen right here on FR as we have our own 12% or so Libertarians who post here.
Let me be clear, There is NO moral equivalencies between the two Parties.
Granted the Republicans are not perfect, but when you look at how they voted on funding the troops, obamacare, tax cuts, the non-Stimulus Package, and how this minority party stands in the way of the Pelosi / Obama agenda time and time again, bringing that out of control train to a crashing halt, I cant help but be proud to be a Republican.
He doesn’t have to tote the GOP water for them, but If Beck would only stress more the importance of the Republicans taking back power in November and then holding the Republican Leaders feat to the fire, I would have a whole lot more interest in his show, and more positives things to say about his show.
