9/11 Mosque Imam Wrote Much of the Guts of Obama's Historic Cairo Speech!

WEBTODAY EXCLUSIVE (August 24, 2010)-- QUESTION: Who really was speaking on that historic day of June 4th 2009 in Cairo, Egypt? President Obama or the Imam of the proposed Ground Zero Mosque, Feisal Abdul Rauf?

ANSWER: Feisal Abdul Rauf! Link to audio of Rauf's admission

The Shoebat Foundation obtained this shocking audio recording of Rauf's own voice boasting in Arabic that Obama’s historic Cairo speech was provided by the Imam and the Cordova Initiative in what the Imam called “The Blue Print” which he said was the solution to the Islamic-American divide. Rauf claimed Chapter 6 of the Imam’s work engineered by the Cordova Initiative was the construct for the entire speech:

“This is an example of the impact of our work in a positive way to be used by the President.”

"The blue print," Rauf elaborated, included everything from U.S. policy to Jewish and Christian relations with Muslims.

For an Imam in New York to be involved in the orchestrating U.S. foreign policy is quite the claim. In the recording dated February 5th, 2010 Rauf boasted that:

“We have to look at it [as] how to engineer solutions. At the Cordova Initiative we think of ourselves as an engineering shop. Yes. We have an analytical approach. Our work has been that. IN THE BOOK CHAPTER 6, I WROTE ABOUT THIS BLUE PRINT as to WHAT HAS TO BE DONE BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, what has to be done by the Jewish community, what has to be done by the Christian community, what has to be done by the Muslim community, what has to be done by educators, what has to be done by the media. For example, IN MY BOOK IN THE ARABIC VERSION page 293, what did I write? WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT THE UNITED STATES NEEDS TO DO. IF YOU EXAMINE THIS CHAPTER YOU WILL FIND THAT THE OBAMA SPEECH IN CAIRO WAS ALL TAKEN FROM THIS SECTION [Section 6]. When you do a job that is very complicated. You ask yourself, what have you accomplished. All these problems can be solved but requires the will to solve it. It requires political will, resources and the right focus. The signs of how to go to the moon was known 200 years ago, but the political will and financial will for it happened during 1960-1961. When John Kennedy said that we will send an American to the moon before the end of the 60’s, he established the financial resources and the political will.”

The story was even collaborated in a written article in an interview with Hani Al-Waziri of Egypt. The clue was revealed while Rauf was answering a question regarding President Barack Obama’s speech in which Rauf replied:

“The speech was wonderful and wise in his choice of words, the Prime Minister of Malaysia after the speech disclosed to me that it is now easy for any president of a Muslim country to establish good relations with America, and I AM NOT GOING TO HIDE FROM YOU THAT ONE OF THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED IN WRITING THE SPEECH, TRANSFERRED ENTIRE PARTS OF MY BOOK ‘A NEW VISION FOR MUSLIMS AND THE WEST’, which he referred to U.S. interests being compatible with top interests of the Muslim world”.

Rauf did not disclose the name of this speechwriter that included Rauf’s work in president Obama’s historic address to the Muslim world. It is crucial to note that the Arabic version of Feisal Abdul Rauf’s book was published in Malaysia titled “A CALL TO PRAYER, FROM THE WORLD TRADE CENTER RUBBLE: ISLAMIC DAWA (SUMMONS TO ISLAM) IN THE HEART OF AMERICA POST-9/11."

The interview with Hani Alwaziri dated February 7th, 2010 intended to discuss Rauf’s plans for what he terms “American Style Islam” and the Cordova Initiative goals for the U.S. Rauf later stated that his goal was “To establish an American style Islam in the United States” in which he explains his aspiration of spreading Islam in America by using flexibility and molding Islam to become palatable to the American culture while preserving the integrity of Islamic ideology:

“If we look how Islam was spread from Hijaz (Arabia) to Morocco then Turkey, we note that Islam was shaped by the culture and society, hence showing a Muslim version of the architecture and culture and the arts, but with preservation of the framework of belief and worship. We need to provide a GLOBAL ISLAM in accordance with the nature of each society.”

Rauf boasted about his towering structure by Ground Zero as:

“an icon that will make Muslims proud, not only locally but globally.”

His suggestion to Muslims on how to deal with western Christians and Jews was:

“deal with them as one courts a pretty girl he wants to date; stop thinking like a typical Muslim. Then you can engage.”

He also discussed how he courted Bloomberg and the Jewish Community boards that “we have inroads with the Jewish Community Center”. It is interesting that Rauf stated in Arabic to Hadielislam, another prominent Muslim think tank that:

“people need to use peaceful means to advise the governors and government institutions…we also suggest to the governors and political institutions to CONSULT [MUSLIM] RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS AND [MUSLIM] PERSONALITIES IN THE FIELD SO AS TO ASSURE THEIR DECISION MAKING TO REFLECT THE SPIRIT OF SHARIAH.”

In previous reports researched by the Walid Shoebat Foundation, it was revealed that Imam Rauf has made statements in the Arabic language - while appearing on Arabic media outlets - that completely contradict his moderate tone when speaking English, exposing him as a direct supporter of terrorism, both financially and verbally.

Walid Shoebat a former terrorist now an advocate for the U.S. and exposes Jihadist political agenda is conducting interviews on various news media outlets to expose this outrage.

ABOUT WALID SHOEBAT…

Walid is the author of several bestselling books including “Why I Left Jihad,” “Why We Want To Kill You” and “God’s War on Terror.” Walid is an American citizen and lives in the USA with his wife and children, under this assumed name. Walid has spoken all over America and the world including Chile, Mexico, Canada, UK, and South Africa. He has appeared on national television also all over the world including CNN, CNN International, FOX News, ITN, RTE, NBC, CBS, The 700, ABC and ABC Australia. He has also been featured on BBC radio 4, 5 and the largest radio audience on the BBC World Service reaching 180 million people.

Walid has the unique insight so as people can now fully understand the issue of terrorism from the perspective of someone who was once a terrorist. Walid Shoebat has given lectures at Harvard Law School and Columbia University, and has also spoken at Oxford University UK, National Constitution Center, Capitol Hill, UCLA, USC, University of Georgia, Washington University, Penn State, and San Diego State University.

From the Cairo Speech:

"Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition."

Which ofcourse is a load of crap because anyone that does a real study of the history of Islamic occupation of the Iberian peninsula during that time knows full well that there was no tolerance by its Islamic rulers against the other religions. It was slavery and pay the jizya tax, or convert.

First a little history of why the muslims conquered Spain:

By 710AD, Jews and Christians had been in the Iberian peninsula for a few hundred years and the Visigoth king Rodrigo ruled from the capital Toledo.

Emir Musa ruled North Africa from Kairouan in Tunisia. He saw that Spain was ripe for plunder with great financial wealth, and beautiful girls aplenty for the Harems in Kairouan and Damascus. Musa then received permission from the Caliph Walid who ruled from Damascus, and then chose Tariq, a Berber, who was a former Algerian slave, but now a fierce warrior and a recent convert to Islam, to lead his army. They sent a small force of a few hundred men on a raid, and when they returned loaded with riches and pretty girls, Musa was much impressed. So the invasion of Al-Andalus (valley of Vandals) was not so much about converting the infidel to Islam, but the focus was on booty, women and slaves to be delivered back to Damascus.

The first major battle was against the Visigoth king Rodrigo, and took place near the river Rio Barbate, which is in the Xeres district, now famous for its sherry.

Rodrigo and his army was no match for the fierce Berbers and were easily defeated, with casualties in the tens of thousands. Rodrigo himself is believed to have drowned in the river attempting to escape. His horse, robes and diadem were found on the river bank.

On the way Cordoba was captured, and Toledo was easily taken. The booty was fabulous and included a gold and emerald table from the Temple of Solomon.

Musa returned to Damascus with tons of booty, Visigoth dignitaries as prisoners and 3,000 Spanish virgins.

From 756AD to 1031AD, there was a series of Islamic leaders of Cordoba (Umayyads of Cordoba). Some of their highlights include:

Hisham I (788-796) called for Holy War against Asturias and France, and assembled 100,000 warriors from even Syria, Arabia and Algeria, and attacked Narbonne and Carcassone and won enough booty to fund a new mosque in Cordoba.

Al-Hakam (796-822) became known for the “Day of the Ditch” where he beheaded 5,000 converts to Islam in Toledo on suspicion of treachery.

Almanzor (967-1002) He beheaded 4,000 Christians after taking Zamora. He won the battle near Simancus and again beheaded about 4,000 Christians. Almanzor also razed the Christian shrine city of Santiago de Compostela which was to the Christians like the Kaaba was to the Muslims.

Conversion to Islam was encouraged by the Ummayad caliphs and Emirs of Córdoba. Many Christians converted to Islam to avoid the Jizya tax which they were subjected to as Dhimmis. Apostasy, however, for one who had been raised as a Muslim or had embraced Islam, was a crime punishable by death.

From the point of view of the Muslim rulers, jizya was a material proof of the non-Muslims' acceptance of subjection to the state and its laws. Non-Muslims were also not allowed to build any new places of worship.

In Al-Andalus, the large numbers of Christians adopting Islam to escape the Jizya tax and treatment of Dhimmitude prompted concern among the authorities about the weakening of the tax base and further inflamed resentment towards the Muwallads.

The Muwallads were in almost constant revolts against the Arab and Berber immigrants who had carved out large estates for themselves, farmed by Christian serfs or slaves.

In 1011, there was a massacre of Jews in Cordoba: which was followed by other slaughters in other parts of Al Andalus, notably in Granada in 1066. The famous Jewish scholar, Maimonides originally lived in Cordoba in the early 12th century, until the Almohades dynasty took the city, and threatened to kill any Jews who did not leave or convert to Islam. Maimonides’ family relocated to the more tolerant university city of Fes, in Morocco.

The Berbers, who held strictly to Islamic teachings, terrorised and looted Cordoba until the city fell and the Umayyad dynasty came to an end in 1031AD.

When Toledo was recaptured in 1085AD, and Seville had become the centre of Moorish culture, they sought help from North Africa. However the Almoravids were horrified when they entered Seville and noticed Jews and Christians trading freely in the markets, selling musical instruments and wine. A Fatwa was obtained and the Almoravids gained control of all Muslim lands and even taking back Valencia from the Christians.

This was followed by the even stricter Almohads who in turn fought and defeated the Almoravids in bloody Jihad.

But eventually the Reconquista proved unstoppable and soon only the southern Taifa of Granada was left in Muslim hands.

Eventually Ferdinand and Isabella forced Mohammed XII (Boabdil) to surrender and he even gave them the keys to the palace before fleeing to Fez in Africa. Islam no longer controlled any part of Spain.

Was there a Golden Age of tolerance that Obama is talking about?

What can be concluded is that under the Umayyads of Abdul Rahman III, civilization flourished for only about 100 years because true Islam was not practised, and indeed Jews and Christians Dhimmitude was not as severe, and they mixed with Muslim scholars; Literature, Medicine, Science and Astronomy advanced; Poetry and Music flourished (not banned); Wine was drunk for pleasure (not banned) Indeed, it could be said that:

“the Golden Age happened in spite of Islam, NOT because of Islam”.

When Cordoba was sacked, the scholars moved base to Toledo after 1085AD where science and literature flourished under Christian rule, NOT Islam. Scholars came from Europe to embrace new ideas then spread this throughout Europe.

But, in any case, this was long before the Spanish Inquisition, which started in 1478. Cordoba had been reconquered by Spain in 1236. The city was not under Muslim rule during the Inquisition.

Don’t forget this little gem! It’s all about the MONEY. (Wonder how much of a cut BO gets?)

FROM:
http://www.observer.com/2010/real-estate/%E2%80%98ground-zero-mosque%E2%80%99-developer?page=1

Meet the ‘Ground Zero Mosque’ Developer (Mr. El-Gamal-—Feisal Abdul Rauf and Con are his puppets)

...snip...

I’d never met an American imam who spoke the way I speak, who, it was almost like I was listening to a professor,” Mr. El-Gamal said. “I went up to him and I said, ‘It’s not fair that only 70 people get to hear this.’ And I started a relationship with him.”

“Then as I got married and as I became a father and a husband and a member of the Jewish Community Center on 76th and Amsterdam, I was like, ‘Wow, let’s build a community center.’”

...snip...
Yet all of this remained more of an idea than an actual plan until about three and a half years ago, when Mr. El-Gamal and his wife were walking along 57th Street and entered a Sharper Image store.

“And I saw this young man by the name of Francisco Patino, who was on this reality show called American Inventor,” he said. “I don’t watch TV, but for some reason, I saw this show a couple of times. He was a young 18-year-old kid, but I loved his passion and he stuck in my head.”

Mr. El-Gamal said he approached Mr. Patino, and two weeks later, Mr. Patino was his employee. He gave him a map and told him to find a development site in Tribeca south

...snip...

Crucial to the 13-story project, which is to include a mosque, a swimming pool, a 9/11 memorial and a basketball court, is, of course, financing, somewhere in the ballpark of $100 million, which is a sizable sum, particularly in one of the worst financing markets in decades.

Mr. El-Gamal brushed aside any such concerns.

“Over the last couple of years, I’ve started understanding how these community centers work. And, this is all public information, but the Jewish Community Center makes over $25 million in annual revenue. The 92nd Street Y makes over $50 million in annual revenue, from membership and programming.”

As the White House embarked on this “new chapter of engagement” between the U.S. and the Muslim world, it changed the presidential job description and stretched the facts. “I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States,” Mr. Obama told his Cairo audience, “to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.” He also told an interviewer, “If you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” Sorry, Mr. President, but that’s not even a stretch; it’s just a baldfaced fabrication designed to ingratiate yourself with your “audience.” ———— “Apologies and Ayatollahs,” Townhall.com ^ | June 5, 2009 | Oliver North

Reaching post-partisanship: Here’s how - Consensus-building, not compromising, is key
Washington Times, The (DC) - Tuesday, February 3, 2009
Author: Stephen R. Covey and Robert Fersh, SPECIAL TO THE WASHINGTON TIMES

EXCERPT

We have employed these tools over a period of years, and together are working on a major project that has produced a strong consensus report from 34 highly diverse, eminent Americans on how to improve U.S. relations with the Muslim world. Participants include: Madeleine Albright, former secretary of state for President Clinton; Richard Armitage, former deputy secretary of state; Dov Zakheim, undersecretary of defense for President George W. Bush; Vin Weber and Steve Bartlett, former congressmen; imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, scholar Vali Nasr, and nine other Muslim American leaders; Tom Dine, former executive director of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC); Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention; and former diplomats and military officials.

Some members of the group were reluctant to be in the same room at the start. Now, they are working as a team to get their recommendations out to a wider audience through the report, “Changing Course: A New Direction for U.S. Relations with the Muslim World.” Vin Weber spoke for many others when he said: “The report provides clear-headed ideas and analysis that the American public and bipartisan leaders can get behind in working to improve U.S.-Muslim relations. The process by which this group reached consensus is a good model for dialogue for the tough issues the country faces.”

Obama’s Challenge to the Muslim World

The historic significance of President Obama’s speech to the Muslim world in Cairo cannot be overstated. Never before has an American president spoken to the global Muslim community. His speech marked a major shift in American foreign policy. Obama directly enlisted a religion to build global peace and to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, end nuclear proliferation and stop terrorism.

Barack Obama’s speech to the Muslim world at Cairo University in Egypt one year ago was ground-breaking and transformational. While its impact was anticipated and predicted, and still being felt, what is unknown is that many of the ideas in the speech reflect the recommendations of Changing Course: A New Direction for U.S. Relations with the Muslim World, a bipartisan consensus document published in the fall of 2008, before his election, by the U.S.-Muslim Engagement Project.

Former Cong Vin Weber spoke for many others when he said: “The report----Changing Course: A New Direction for US Relations with the Muslim World---- provides clear-headed ideas and analysis that the American public and bipartisan leaders can get behind in working to improve US-Muslim relations. The process by which this group reached consensus is a good model for dialogue for the tough issues the country faces.”

Okay---so let's all concentrate on Islam's religious beliefs----which guide their every move and thought.

The fundamentals of what Muslims believe are at the core of their thinking. The Koran---Islam's religious playbook----contains the directives that rules their lives and forms the basis of what they believe.

EVERY Muslim must abide by these directives.

Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them. 4:89

When you fight with disbelievers, do not retreat. Those who do will go to hell. 8:15-16

Those that the Muslims killed were not really killed by them. It was Allah who did the killing. 8:17

Fight the disbelievers! Allah is on your side; he will give you victory. 9:12-14

The “Religion of Truth” (Islam) must prevail, by force if necessary, over all other religions. 9:33

Fight the disbelievers and hypocrites. Be harsh with them. They are all going to hell anyway. 9:73

Fight disbelievers who are near you, and let them see the harshness in you. 9:123

If you refuse to fight for Allah, he will punish you with a painful doom. 48:16

All Muslims are directed to look down on non-Muslims as infidels.

======================================

RAISE YOUR HAND, AMERICANS Who among us believes the 9/11 hijackers acted on a "perverse and narrow interpretation" of their religion?

======================================

The Ground Zero mosque is another version of "Muslim Triumphalism".....brough to you from another group of hyphenates bent on mischief. Latinos are itching for Reconquista. The mosquevites are looking to impose Sharia law on the US.

All of us are sick and tired of these foreign-born "hyphenates" sticking it to Americans. Americans know all the world wants to live like we do---even our poorest live handsomely compared to some of these backwater Third World hellholes. Now instead of blending into the US melting pot, the hyphenates want to radically change our culture---they want us to be like them.

That ain't gonna happen.

Mehgan Kelly just had a segment on the developer. How he’d gone from being a weighter just a few years ago to paying 4.8 million CASH for the property to be developed....Last comment: FOLLOW THE MONEY!

while the MSM is busy ridiculing Americans who are increasingly suspicious that Obama is a Muslim, I think he is essentially a globalist leftist who sympathizes with jihad as another way to bring down eviiilll hegemonic capitalists.... a "popular front" of the left and the jihadists against their common enemy, US...... this statement of instruction to US political leaders (from document that started this thread) indicates what growing numbers of Americans recognize in Obama:

"TO ASSURE THEIR DECISION MAKING TO REFLECT THE SPIRIT OF SHARIAH”
