Is there a post about this more filled with fact than editorial comment. I read the source and am still unsure as to what has happened.

Well, watchman, I’m glad you noticed that this article
was a rather gross jumping to conclusions that even the
Oblahblah Administration would not dare implement for real.
Keep in mind they’ve been doing lots of stuff like
this from Day ONE just to scare us into overreaction
so that they can then start the process of clamping
down.It hasn’t worked so far, and the more they try it
the more tiresome it generally gets to the American public.
It’s just wearying to be subjected to this constant battle of rhetoric not to mention these constant legal maneouevers issuing
from the Punks in the WHite House. It’s why the approval
ratings continue to slide downward. They ain;t goin’ up anytime soon.

Thanks

We believe so. Her picture is at the lower left beneath the article at Canada Free Press.

There are a number of authors of the Conservative bent that we appreciate their thoughtful insight, and Sher Zieve is one of them.

Embracing International Law and the United Nations is another of Obama’s plans for the destruction of America.

Of course, he has no such power to do this legally/Constitutionally; but he is doing it anyway.

So far, the resistance to all of his power seizing, and freedom destroying and economic collapsing ideas and moves have been met with vapid, resistance.

May God, (the great I AM that I AM), help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.

Hey hoser, it's a Canadian sentence...aye?

Well I guess that explains it. I'm a "hoosier" from Indiana. We don't understand that hoser lingo.

I currently live in Arizona which is why I do take particular umbrage at Obama's tactics. On the other hand, I am not currently barring the door or loading ammo magazines with breathless anticipation.

A previous post included the text of a human rights report purportedly filed by the administration which mentioned the administration position relative to AZ SB1070. This was a pdf document located on a .gov site and appeared to be authentic. However, it did not call for any U.N. action or appear to be any sort of appeal to the U.N. for help. It does announce the “dirty laundry” to the rest of the world and hold Arizona up for scorn. Thus, it was highly inappropriate and in bad taste.

There was a link at the bottom of the Free Canada post cited in this thread which appeared to point to a related Free Canada post which probably had the url for the above-mentioned document. Otherwise, the url was in a prior FR thread. Sorry, I didn’t keep it.

My prior posts on this thread have been essentially agreeing with your assessment; i.e., there is a lot of opinion and not much fact in the original Free Canada article. I also dispute the analysis of the author and claim he has gone over the top.

That is a good post. I forget and fall for this stuff every time. However, the hubris of this administration does not preclude doing something like this.

I agree. Washington Post reports there is a 21 page report filed with the UN but doesn’t link to it. Like to read it myself. Anyone know where it is?

Hi Watchman,

Here is more 'meat' on the story:

Jan Brewer comments on Human Rights report...

I'll read it tonight.

PHOENIX – Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer demanded Friday that a reference to the state's controversial immigration law be removed from a State Department report to the United Nations' human rights commissioner. The U.S. included its legal challenge to the law on a list of ways the federal government is protecting human rights. In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Brewer says it is "downright offensive" that a state law would be included in the report, which was drafted as part of a UN review of human rights in all member nations every four years.

If I lived in AZ I would be doing more than barring doors and loading magazines. All HELL is going to break loose there on the border. It already has in many places. These people will not stop. I would be filling sand bags right about now and saying prayers. May God forgive us for allowing this to happen to america.
