Louisiana Pastor Wants To Nuke The Quran
Elective Decisions ^ | 09/09/10 | Chris Davis

Posted on 09/09/2010 4:11:55 PM PDT by writer33

Deridder, LA—Amidst the controversy surrounding the burning of the Quran, Pastor Ima Wright, from the Reach Out And Touch Someone Center in Deridder, Louisiana, has decided to raise the stakes, and destroy the Quran with a nuclear explosion. Pastor Wright came to this conclusion after he told Elective Decisions that God had called at three in the morning with specific instructions to nuke the Quran. So, I sat down with Pastor Wright and we weighed the pros and cons of destroying the Quran with a thermonuclear device...

You know it would be much more proactive if all these koran burning were canceled at the last minute and instead the pastors simply read all the wonderful verses about killing infidels..................then throw the book in the pig pen for a hog snack

Funny, but reality promises to be funnier.

Already Rev. Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church has promised to burn a Koran if Rev. Terry Jones truly has chickened out (he wants to remind us he’s burned Korans before).

I’ve no doubt the copycat announcements will be coming thick and fast over the next few hours and that Saturday will see a coast-to-coast orgy of Koran-burning.

Say now, that could really work out nicely. Fred Phelps becomes the target of pissed-off Muslims the world over, maybe a way of killing two birds with one, uh, stone.

Maybe the Qu'ran-lovin' terrorists instead? Be more effective!

....or let them do it to themselves...one at a time....

Can we do this in some place where it might be noticed, say San Fran or Boston... not New Orleans or Detroit where no one would tell the difference??

OK with me. Just wrap it in bacon before the timer is set. Better yet, convince Achmed that it will harm the infidels and get him to flip the switch.

You just know that out of 6 billion people on the planet, and the intensive news coverage, that there will be some Korans burned on Saturday. This pastor lit the fuse and it’s going to happen, somewhere, guaranteed.

Enjoyed your satire. A question. How and why did you select DeRidder, LA as the location?

Way back in the day when I was at Ft. Polk, LA before the 5th Infantry Division Mechanized moved to Ft. Hood, I remembered going through this town called DeRidder, LA. The name stuck out and worked as well as any town. New Orleans was too big for the satire, and so was Baton Rouge.

For a while, they closed basic training at Ft. Polk, but they reopened it for basic training while I was there. I remember that red clay. It got in everything with our vehicles as well.
