From CNS News: In a video interview this week, White House Office of Science and Technology Director John P. Holdren told CNSNews.com that he would use the free market economy to implement the massive campaign he advocated along with Population Bomb author Paul Ehrlich to de-develop the United States.
In his role as President Barack Obamas top science and technology adviser, Holdren deals with issues ranging from global warming to health care.
A massive campaign must be launched to restore a high-quality environment in North America and to de-develop the United States, Holdren wrote along with Paul and Anne H. Ehrlich in the recommendations concluding their 1973 book Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions.
De-develop? Hah! Then they should have let GM and Chrysler die - Detroit is well on its way to being de-developed.
Is anyone surprised?
Dang Bush is STILL using science for political purposes.
Dems sure do love creating unemployment to expand the ever increasing underclass of people who are totally dependent on the government.
Sounds like we're going to be veloped.
Holdren’s an insane communist eco-wacko radical. What’s new? He shouldn’t be within 1000 miles of a lever of power.
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
The good news here is that nobody in the White House knows anything about free markets.
If there was a centrally planned effort to increase productivity and competitiveness it definitely would not be a free market endeavor.
Oh wait a minute. They've tried that before and it only ended up being a way to funnel money from taxpayers to lobbyists.
Use the FREE MARKET to push for a GOVERNMENT rationing plan?
Apparently, this dingbat who has never worked in the private sector doesn’t get, the PRIVATE sector.
