White House rips Forbes article
washingtonpost ^ | September 16, 2010 | Howard Kurtz on D'Souza

Posted on 09/17/2010 10:17:23 PM PDT by Rabin

Barack Obama Sr; Kenyan Luo tribesman who "studied" at Harvard, was a polygamist, four wives and eight children. He was also a drunk, (no wounder). Driving plastered, managed to kill at least one other man and finally himself.

D'Souza, "Obama has roots that are foreign is not an allegation, it's a statement of fact."

D'Souza is tight with Laura Ingraham, to whom he was engaged but never married, and Ann Coulter. Mmm what a lucky man he is. Rab wounders about the shared anti-birther connection.

BOOYEA!

D’Souza was RIGHT ON TARGET!

Hit one outta tha paaaaaaark!

Personally I thought his article made 100% sense. It explained so many things which were just completely incongruous, until you looked at them from the correct perspective.

Yep, the WH response tells me he was RIGHT on target. He nailed bambi right where it hurt.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

So?...What special proof has D’Souza seen? Huh?

If he claims to be an after-birther his chances of being invited on Fox are a lot better.

Well I haven’t read but I assume this is the article that has the peudo conservative David Brooks all bothered?

Obama and his life bore me. I hadn’t bother to read the article because I just don’t care about understanding him in that detail. We know enough to beat him. Anything else is a matter for therapy or for evangelism. I’m not a therapist and I don’t anticipate being in his presence to reach his soul.

I read this hoping for a brief synopsis of what was so objectionable and found very little content from the book contained within. Mostly outage whatever it was he wrote was printed. Turned out reading this was a waste of time. Now I may have to read the article if the hissy fits continue.

Methinks the Pres__ent is a thin-skinned, effeminate loser who is probably prone to tearful hissy-fits.

My best female Japanese friend, a gal named Reiko said that there is just something about him that makes her want to slap him silly. She feels her hands itching every time she sees his smug superior smile.

Not required by his theory. Obama may have been born in Hawaii, but he was early on whisked off to the mainland, and then back, after Obama senior has departed. Then he went to Indonesia where he spent years living with his mother and Indonesian step-father, before coming to Hawaii to be taken care of by his grandparents until he went off to college. He really had no roots anywhere in America, not even Hawaii, until he finally lighted in Chicago. And of course even there he was a stranger. Whether he is formally an alien are not, he is alien to me.

Man they’re squirming over this. Just read the article, nothing of substance that D’Souza stated was challenged by Kurtz. Just a lot of smoke and hand waving from Gibbs.

D’Souza has really hit a nerve and they’re going after Forbes. Zer0’s identity is being revealed primarily through his (supposed) autobiography and the WH is mad that someone is connecting the dots.

Here's a little something the president without a birth certificate that can be shown to the world questioning it, democrats and the media haven't really "gotten the news out about..."

Report - Los Angeles spent $70 million in stimulus funds to create 7.76 jobs

A new piece of evidence has emerged in the debate over the effectiveness of President Obama's 2009 stimulus package, and it's not good for Democrats. According to two newly released audits performed by the Los Angeles controller, L.A. spent enormous portions of the $594 million in stimulus funds it received on projects that created or saved just a handful of jobs. All told, the audits — available here and here [pdf] — examined $111 million in stimulus spending by the city's Department of Transportation and Department of Public Works, and found that the money went to projects that created or retained just 54 jobs. That works out to roughly $2 million per job.

The $71 million that went to the Department of Public Works, which funded 15 road-surfacing and similar projects, was projected to save or create 238 jobs. But according to the audit, the money created just 7.76 jobs — or slightly more than $10 million per new job — and saved 37.7 (the fractions are a result of calculating the number of jobs by hours worked). The Department of Transportation's $40 million created or retained just nine jobs, the audit found.

Its interesting to read the attacks on the article on the comment section, most seem to fall into a couple of categories 1) Obama had no contact with his anti colonial father therefore the father could not possibily of have had any influence, and therefore this cannot explain Obamas motives as being anti colonialism while, 2) They are saying America was founded on anti colonialism therefore Obama is a true patriot, and really is anti colonialism and they are proud of this!

Note that 1) and 2) are mutually exclusive, such that with argument 1) Liberals try to distance any ideas that there causes are anti colonial. While 2) liberals have no objection to be called anti colonial! Typical, first they will deny and lie, but when they loose that argument then they try to change the language to make something derogatory sound as good, (like killing babies is pro is choice).

Regarding the anti - colonial roots of the US, while this is somewhat true, this political agenda was 200 years old, and what was anti - colonial 200 years ago, does not have the same meaning as it does in the present, which today has nothing to do with expansion, and subjugation of otherwise independent cultures, anti - colonialism objections today are really short hand for anti capitalism, anti – freedom, anti-Christian doctrine. So it is telling, that liberals, concede proudly that Osama is anti - colonial in the terms of the current meaning of the word, which is basically means anti American.

D’Souza nails the Obama Agenda, and uses Obamas Father as just one example of the circle of influence surrounding the young Obama and his family with its 3rd world anti American roots.

AND note one last thing, if Obamas 3rd world influences as a theory is wrong as a means to explain the seemingly illogical Obama Agenda, note liberal bloggers are not stepping up to deny the facts that Obama Agenda does not like putting Americans first, and that is how D’Souza nails them, Gibbs and the like are so busy trying to spin the web of how the theory is based upon myths and lies, while making no attempt to deny that Obamas is not acting in the best interest of the western Judeo-Christian culture, and they offer no reason why or deny that the Obama agenda is not supported by the majorty of the american public.

There’s a Jack Cashill piece over at American Thinker (don’t have the link handy) that does rebut some of Dsouza’s piece. The main thrust of his rebuttal is that Zer0’s “father” the Kenyan did drop out of the Zer0’s life early on. But he goes on to point out that a lot of what Zer0 did get was based on similar points of view from his mother and from Ayers, who wrote the book Dsouza claims was all about Zer0’s daddy. Zer0’s foundation, viewpoint and beliefs are (if I read it right) the same, it’s just the source that’s different. That is, he’s still doing the things Dsouza says he is, but they’re a result of Ayers’ influence (and others of his radical friends circle), and not directly from his father.

The only place you'll find Forbes in a Dentist's office is in the back in the office of the Dentist. It ain't gonna be out there for the patients.

Again the smear and no substance. The White House, by their attack, vastly raised the profile of this article and it's analysis. Why? A thin-skinned reaction to an article hitting the bullseye? Or do they see it as another birth certificate issue, that they use to try to get their opponents dismissed as nuts? Muhammad Ali could do the rope a dope to wear out his opponent, I don't see Obama as having the abs to take all these body blows.

And using the worst Press Secretary (after Dede Myers, but she was soon gone) at the attacker ain't gonna persuade anybody. And why did Gibbs comment on Palin speaking to the Reagan Dinner in Des Moines Iowa as dipping her toe in for a Presidential run? Is that really within the purview of the Presidential press secretary?

Do they think Palin is so beyond the pale that they think bringing this up simply discredits the entire GOP? Really? These guys make the Carter Presidency look like a well-oiled machine in comparison.

Obama's book is entitled "Dreams from My Father" not "Dreams from My Terrorist Pal". Yes, Obama's circle of radical pals, family and hangers on all back up his radical beliefs.

Supposedly, Obama is intellectually brilliant, but he has had an extremely narrow intellectual background.

I have Das Kapital and Mein Kampf in the original Klingon in my library. Does Obama have Milton Friedman, Ludwig von Mises or Friedrich von Hayek? He's been in a bubble his entire life.

And that bubble is going to be popped November 2nd. Watch for Obama's reaction. Watch for him to lash out even more. What are the remaining Democrats going to do, when they see this? Clinton still had people coming onto his sinking ship in the last 6 months of his Presidency. Clinton was distinctively American. How 'alienating' will Obama's coming tantrum be? What's his Party going to do?

Captain, my Captain? It's going to be Gibbsy and Obama tied to the mast going down on the ship. This isn't good for America, thank you Democrats and the Media for selecting this guy, covering up for him and getting him elected without any vetting. Thanks to the 'smartest guys in the room'. The stupid twit Palin had the guy figured out. The genius's didn't. Who's smart again?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

D'Souza made no statement about spending time on what matters. The sentence in the article states:

"In the interview, D'Souza says he explicitly rejects the notion that Obama was born anywhere but Hawaii and calls suggestions that he is race-baiting "preposterous.">/p>

So?...Hm?...How exactly did D'Souza know "explicitly" that Obama was born in Hawaii? Has he seen the long form birth certificate? Also,...There is far, far, far, more to natural born citizenship than where one was born.
