I was checking around online to find a convenient place nearby to get an annual flu shot, as is my habit, but so far, every place offering shots this year I have gone to is stating something along the lines of this: "The H1N1 component is included in this year's Seasonal Influenza Immunization."
They don't offer a "plain vanilla" flu shot, so to speak, that is, a regular flu shot, WITHOUT any H1N1. If I am unable to find a flu shot offered without H1N1 included, then I will be skipping it this year. My wife is a health care professional, and has the exact same opinion -- she won't take a flu shot that includes H1N1
I have done an online search, and so far, have been unable to find any information whatsoever about this. This surprises me, since we all know what a controversy H1N1 vaccinations were last year, and that many refused to take them, including some health care workers, somewhere in NY state, as I recall. I also recall that the all-knowing gubmint, with the assistance of their slavish lapdog Leftist media, tried to create a panic about H1N1 in 2009. But many refused to take the controversial vaccine, so they had a lot of H1N1 vaccine left over.
So I wonder what is going on here? Did the gubmint freeze all the vaccine and are they forcing the inclusion of that leftover H1N1 in all flu vaccines this year? Or perhaps it is brand new H1N1 vaccine, but I'm still suspicious that the Federal goobermint is involved. Either way, I want no part of H1N1, and neither does my wife.
Anyone have any knowledge about this topic to share?
We see flu deaths every year. Usually the old and infirm. Last year was different, we saw two people die one in his late teens the other in their early 20’s from the H1N1 flu, neither with any chronic conditions. It was very unusual for a facility our sized and too early in the season. Our ID guys were in a panic, thankfully, we saw other strains in the flu season.
I don’t know why you would refuse the flu shot because on H1N1, if it did not have that strain, it would definitely have another swine flu strain.
True, there has been alot of effort to show that there is no link between vaccines and autism. I’m just making the case that they aren’t studying the “hot shot” scenario, and the effects of high concentrations of these preservatives.
U have taken flu shorts every year since they stopped using a live flu virus, 2 years ago I had a strange skin reaction that my E&T said might be from the preservative. He advised me to only take a flu shot that had no preservative. It was hard to find last year but I finally found it at all places, Walgreens. Has your facility gotten any flu vaccine without preservatives this year? I am wondering if it will be hard to find again.

No longer have the book but the gist of it was how apple cider vinegar is supposed to be some kind of miracle cure used for thousands of years for all kinds of ailments.

Yep, I don’t use echinacea but I do occasionally eat garlic which is supposed to help with infection, sort of like an antibiotic.

They are new vaccines but trivalent, not the same vaccines as last year. But they are using the seed strain from last year, which is stupid, as viruses mutate and the H1N1 strains circulating now are quite different from April or May 09 which is when the seed strain for this year’s H1N1 part is from.
Last year people got swine H1N1 even after getting vaxed. It was already a bad match then.
The WHO (World Health Organization) decides for all the countries. It is currently headed by Maragaret Chan who is a puppet of the Peoples’ Republic of China. The WHO is an arm of the UN and China so that tells you how much you can trust them.

Up at the top there are links to other parts of the site. The guy who started it (screen name Monotreme) is a scientist and the place is hands down the best site to get a grip of flu info, both background and current news.
If you check the site I just linked above, and read a bit, you may be surprised.
The CDC is indeed full of s***, but because they say it was mild and fewer people died than usual. Both of thich are lies and they know it.
It was a much, much worse flu season than usual, and mostly young adults, children and middle aged adults died, compared to 95% of the deaths being in people over 65.
It’s a long topic and I’ve studied it obsesseively for years. T learned a lot about the CDC and the WHO. They are political agencies and driven by their own agendas. Which are not our wellbeing.
The CDC and the WHO consistently down played the dangers and fatality numbers of swine flu, for their own reasons - not to hurt the economy and other reasons.
It was a nasty, bad flu totally unlike regular flus. It came out of nowhere and its origin is suspicious. Many people who had it have lingering problems as it caused among other problems brain lesions, CNS problems, kidney failure, heart problems, liver dysfunction and so on. As well as collapsed lungs of course. Not in every person of course, but enough so that the death rate was much higher than for seasonal flu.
Also, the number of 36,000 deaths a year that the CDC invented a few years ago is totally bogus, based on how many old people die in the winter supposedly. They finally admitted recently it was made up. THe real numbers of regular seasonal flu deaths, as given by the CDC to the American Lung Association, ranged from about 800 to 1200 a year.
Swine H1N1 is not regular flu and anyone who has had it can tell you that as well.
I have gotten a flu shot for the last 6 years and I haven't had a cold or flu the entire time. I don't know what I'm going to do.
