Kennedy: How to get out of the Economic Mess that Obama and Democrats Created
Creating Orwellian Worldview ^ | 9/20/10 | Alaphiah

Sometimes answers to our problems must come from the grave. Since Democrats seized Congressional power in 2004 and hijacked the presidency in 2008, they have been unwilling to listen to rational and reasonable voices concerning the economy. Instead, they have implemented policies and legislation that will produce the greatest tax increases in U.S. history.

Charles Dickens’ story, ‘A Christmas Carol’ told of a man impervious to the reality of people suffering all around him. So self-absorbed was he that it virtually took an other-world experience from ghost of the spirit world to reach him.

Today we have YouTube and video from the past instead of our more ethereal friends to contact us from the past. After Democrats have saddled the American people with Trillions upon Trillions of dollars of debt by their Stimulus packages/jobs bills, bank bailouts, etc. etc. etc. there is a voice from the past that tells president Barry Hussein Soetoro that everything that he is doing is all wrong. That voice is President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. (see 2:03 min video)

" Since Democrats seized Congressional power in 2004 "

Errr... they won in Nov 2006 and took control Jan 2007. They are in their 4th year of control.

Everybody and his brother knows that tax incentives would work wonders. Everybody except Obama and his coterie of Marxists and other assorted nuts.

Whether you realize it or not Democrats never gave up power. Not in 1994 the Gingrich Contract with American and certainly not in 2000-2008 Bush presidency.

This as been a Democrat run government throughout. That is why they were able to trash the Bush presidency.

Officially they out numbered Republicans again in 2006 and took back illegitmate control in 2007 but you are wrong about this being their 4th year of control they have control this government even when they were not in official control.

Not sure what you are trying to spin but when speaking of control/majority of CONGRESS then my post is absolutely correct.

What in Blarnation are you talking about? The Dems the Congress in '07 and they did it legitimately.

If you can't get your facts right you should at least have to pay a fine for posting idiotic, unvetted vanities from your unreadable blog site.

Even after the Republicans gained ostensible numeric control of Congress in 1994, they had been so accustomed to acting like the minority party after 40 years of being the minority party, they continued to let the Dems tell them what to do.

Not really... the Republicans began to drastically slash the budget.

Here’s a history of Federal budgets:

http://www.cbo.gov/budget/data/historical.pdf

I don’t see anything that looks like a drastic slashing at any time after 1994.

I understand what you are getting at but what I was talking about was simply the yearly budget. Your link is to national accumulated debt which is different than yearly budget debt.

The operating budget of inlays and outlays for on and off budget items ran a surplus from 1998 - 2001. This budget does not include intergovernmental debt which is interest on bonds, treasuries, debt, etc. I realize the term surplus is relative especially with a growing national debt. But as it applies here to just the day to day operating budget.

Click on back issues and for each year click on September (the end of the fiscal year)

The “Outlays” column of Page 1 of my reference shows, I believe, the annual expenditures for each listed year.
