Grow up.
Nothing in life is perfect except God. Elections are won by combinations of interests groups coming together and accepting that they are not going to get only 100% of what they personally want. Only a child thinks it can get 100% of what it wants 100% of the time. Adults know that is not the case.

Amen. The quest for purity, among Politicians of all people, astonishes me. Look elsewhere for purity folks, let’s just look for prudence and honesty among the pols. And if we can find that, we should be extremely pleased.
I’d also like to point out if there were enough “fiscal conservatives” to win elections on their votes alone we probably wouldn’t be in the mess we are now in.
