Actually, it’s interesting she’s been allowed to skate through this whole episode. Regardless of where her and her husband end up, I think it’s safe to say the Air Force is certainly diminished by this episode.

Oh, I agree it’s a worthwhile story and it sure looks like the AF is covering things up. But the way this poster pushes the issue reminds me of when John Cleese arrives at the wedding in Monty Python’s Holy Grail.
I apologize for being late for the funeral of the US Air Force’s Leadership Integrity. Somebody has to write an obituary!
Born Sept 18th, 1947 Air Force leadership rocked the world with unprecedented achievements and successes in war and peace. Untold progress was made and Leadership was looked up to, emulated and touted as second to none. It self-actualized in Jan 1991 with the brilliantly and flawlessly conducted first war in the Persian Gulf. Those were the days!
Then something happened. Air Force leadership developed a horrible illness-—a PC infection to include the dreaded “self serving agenda”.
Leadership Integrity died a long slow painful death. It caught the dreaded Dragon Lady Disease and was hospitalized with Roche syndrome. Kidnapped in Kygryzstan, it had a botched abortion and then it took a turn for the worse.
Leaving the hospital, its nuclear triggering components were accidentally sent to China and somehow it tried to fly to Barksdale with undocumented nuclear cruise missiles onboard without anybody knowing. The grim reaper Gates tried to put it out of its misery and cut off its Moseley and Wynn to save its life. But it was too late.
That’s when it’s Metzger PC infection returned for finish it off. It was more then the rank-and-file body could withstand! The Meztger PC infection seemed to be centered at the top of the body-—HQ Air Force. It seemed to be localized there and everything seemed to be in a “Generally” (North) direction. The head doctor, who looked like an ape and had a German name that translated into English, meant “Black” tied his hands and thought, “I hope nobody especially Congress or the rank and file notices this”.
Air Force leadership Integrity died Oct 1st, 2010 at Andrews AFB after a long painful death. The next-of-kin, The Chinese Government, have yet to collect the body but are reportedly very happy with this outcome. Burial services will be private and not public. FOIA won’t be answered. Congress will turn a blind eye. The news media won’t cover it
I’m unaware of the metaphor but reading through the thread it’s obvious some folks think the posters level of emphasis is not justified. Over 22 years I had about 7 of them where I watched the ‘Golden Girl’ get groomed for better things. This whole story brings back bad memories.

Clearly and irrefutably it’s not my fault that the Air Force leadership decided to bring this field grade back on Active Duty despite the facts and the unanswered questions.
It appears Major Metzger and her enablers have BLACKMAILED her way back to active duty without regard for FUTURE CONSEQUENCES and DAMAGE TO MORALE AND DISCIPLINE.
It is your fault that you totally messed up this thread with your irrational outbursts and hostility, and lashing out, and total bizarreness, especially for someone that just signed up.
Too bad, I like the topic, and have posted two threads on her myself in the past.
